The pioneers of the New World
The pioneers of the New World (Original title: Les pionniers du nouveau monde ) is a French-Belgian comic book series in the mid- 18th century in the French and Indian War and the years following plays. The protagonists of the first six volumes are francophone Canadians who struggle with friendly Indians against the English, who eventually conquer Quebec can. The following books describe further adventures of individual protagonists in France, the UK and French Louisiana .
The series was created in 1982 under the pen of Jean-François Charles, who was responsible for text and drawings. From Volume 7 Sels Erwin (Ersel), son of the comic artist took over Frank Sels , the drawings. Since Volume 13 Maryse is the wife of Jean-François Charles, who is responsible for the text. The series continues today by Jean-François Charles, Ersel and Maryse Charles.
Content, which is characterized by large series narrative arcs each with several volumes of where the protagonists change and the individual narratives are sometimes canceled or unexpectedly linked. The epic narrative style is deliberate, an emphasis on the description of the culture of the Indians and their displacement by unscrupulous whites. The contemporary costumes and the wide landscape panoramas are drawn very detailed and authentic for a comic.
In Germany, the comic book series from 1987-1998 is the Splitter Verlag (Vol. 1-9) and from 2002 to 2006 with cult Editions (Volume 10-15) appeared. Since 2008, the comic series is of Finix comics published (from Volume 16). All three publishers have every album in both a softcover - and (short-run) in a hardcover edited version.

Koliko mogu vidjeti iz ovih tabli, crtački-vizualno dosta neprivlačan pa i odbojan (kako kad) te kompozicijski-narativno neprohodan derivat ponajprije Deriba, s asocijacijama na Dufauxa, Ersela pa i Juillarda, plus nešto lošeg pokušavanja oponašanja Bourgeona.
Pročitao bih preview i na temelju njega odlučio.

@tuta, kralju gdje me samo nađe s ovim serijalom. ubo si u sridu, obožavam ovu tematiku i ovaj period! vidim pojavljuju se i historijske ličnosti, kao general wolfie, heroj bitke kod montreala.
ne bih pitao za cijenu kada bi neko ovo objavio na nekom od naših jezika! |

To je i moj dojam, mada bih za neku jaču analizu prvo morao pročitati ovaj strip.
Tematski mi je to razdoblje jako zanimljivo.
Kao klinac volio sam čitati knjige Zane Greya u kojima je opisivao to razdoblje. Fort Wheeling od Huga Pratta temelji se na tim Zane Grayovim knjigama.

to je drugi crtač koji je započeo čini mi se od 7 albuma pa nadalje.
prvi(Charles Jean-François)je puno bolji. |

Meni crtež izgleda kao bezlična mješavina Deriba i Jijea (ili ranog Girauda, svejedno) s tim da je uspio pokupiti ono malo lošeg od Bourgeona. Pripovjedanje (crtačko) je ajme majko, kompozicija još gora, a najsmiješnije mi je silovanje nekakve dinamike... Jok, ovo kod mene nema prolaznu ocjenu...

Iman taj prvi album na francuskom i crtež mi nije uopće loš već naprotiv.
Nije Komadant Mark već prije PSDZ. |
