1. J'ai tué - Abel (2015)

........

Text: Le Tendre Serge
Drawing: Sorel Guillaume

The Old Testament says that the two brothers Cain and Abel one day had the unfortunate idea of making offerings to their god Yahweh. The latter accepted those of Abel,
the nomadic breeder, and refused those of Cain, the sedentary cultivator. The sequel is known: out of spite, Cain, the elder, killed Abel, the younger, and thus the first man born
of a woman became the first assassin in the history of mankind. What the sacred texts do not say is that this original crime was perpetuated through the ages until the time
of Babylon. The hour of vengeance of the one and the sacrifice of the other came ... To inaugurate this collection, Guillaume Sorel and Serge Le Tendre reinterpret History and
propose an original and unpublished vision of the myth of Cain and Abel.

2. J'ai tué - François-Ferdinand, Archiduc d'Autriche (2015)

........

Text: Le Galli Michaël
Drawing: Héloret

With a gesture, he turned the world into horror In the beginning of the year 1914, Europe is on the brink of explosion. At any time, the two antagonistic blocks, Triple Alliance and
Triple Entente, may conflict. From the years 1912-13, the Balkan region became a gunpowder. A poor and tuberculous schoolboy, Gavrilo Princip wants to free the Bosnian Serbs
under Austrian oppression. Accompanied by two companions as exalted as him, Gavrilo decides to go to assassinate the Heir to the throne Austro-Hungarian during his visit to Sarajevo.
Belgrade, the journey of these three nickel-plated feet is an incredible combination of circumstances. No one could have foreseen, and Gavrilo less than anyone, that by his gesture, he
was going to rock Europe in the First World War.

........

Text: Dethan Isabelle

Ainsi was born the greatest empire of history in 337 BC, King Philip II of Macedonia is at the height of his reign. He made his country a powerful and respected kingdom
throughout Greece. His succession is assured in the person of Alexander, born of his union with Olympias, his 4th wife. Now, this one-eyed lame man is about to marry
for the seventh time with the young Cleopatra while preparing for the invasion of Asia. He will not have time to carry out all these projects since he dies murdered in July 336.
A regicide that will allow a young man of barely 20 years to become the greatest conqueror in the world. History retains only the name of the armed arm: Pausanias d'Orestis,
the bodyguard of Philip. But who are the real ones?

4. J'ai tué - Marat (2016)

........

Text: Bollée Laurent-Frédéric
Drawing: Martin Olivier

On July 13, 1793, Marat died at his home in his bathtub, stabbed by Marie-Anne Charlotte of Corday d'Armont, whom History will remember under the name of Charlotte Corday.
Stopped in the wake, then imprisoned, she will be tried, condemned to the guillotine and executed four days later. But she will regret nothing, she will assume:
she must do it. This is what she says when she finds herself facing "the Friend of the People" somewhere between paradise and hell. In this no-man's land,
a strange discussion ensues between the executioner and his victim...

5. J'ai tué - Lennon (2016)

........

Text: Rodolphe
Drawing: Séjourné Gaël

"You know what you did? ... Yes, I just killed John Lennon."

Saturday, December 6, 1980. A taciturn man landed at the airport in New York. His name is Mark Chapman, he says to be a sound engineer and come to work on John Lennon's
latest album. In fact, he secretly hopes to meet his idol in front of the grid of the Dakota Building, alongside other fans. In a dream, Mark imagines himself a member of the Beatles,
sharing with them the tours, glitter and glory. But in his head, the border between admiration and hatred is thin. Why did fate want Lennon to become a star, and him a less
than nothing? Identifying himself with the hero of Salinger's Catch-Heart, Mark feels ready to do anything to repair this injustice. Through blood, if necessary.

Ambiguous character, the motivations that pushed Mark Chapman to murder one of the greatest stars of the planet are still debated. Rodolphe and Gaël Séjourné try
to answer this question in a fictional and fictional way by proposing a possible version of the facts.
