SAF’s new talent from Monaco, Patrice Woolley, has just completed Darkness (originally Téncbres), an album entirely drawn on computer, in a technique used to produce almost 3D-like images.
A young woman wakes up in an openly hostile environment, which, paradoxically, makes her feel peaceful and safe. She is lying in a pool of filthy water, surrounded by walls of blue rock. She could be at the bottom of an abyss or in a crevasse of a sinister canyon, miles away from surface, life or any living creature she cherishes. She does not know whether she is awake or sleeping, but she is certain of one thing: she is suffering from amnesia. She cannot remember her name or how old she is, or even that she is female -- and that scares her the most. Who she is and where she is are two crucial questions that will torment her during her quest through the tunnels full of monsters, which eventually turn out to be less scary as they appear. When she partially recovers her memory, she starts seeing somewhat clearer where she is going...
The album is scheduled to come out in French (published by ERKO), Dutch (Prestige) and German (Kult Editionen) in May 2003.
Ne znam jel neko od vas citao ovaj strip...Gore je kratak sadrzaj skinut s SAF site.Savjetovao bih vam da ga ostavite na stranu jer on nema nista za ponuditi,prica je prazna i do bola dosadna.Najbolje mogu da opisem ovaj "strip" kao wannabe filozofska prica ili populisticki receno ,iako nema veze s stripom dok Sarrazin ne napisa 6 str. scenarija , opet nas Amerikanci zajebali...
Ovo je jedino mozda nesto za Dadu jer glavna junakinja hoda gola kroz cijeli strip  .
Scenario i crtez:Patrica Woolley.Scenario od 38 do 44 Olivier Sarrazin (hvala Oli sto sjeba pricu!).
Strip je napravljan na Pentium PC 233 MHz,128 MB RAM uz pomoc :Bryce 4,Poser 4,Photoshop 6,Amorphium 1.0 i Patience 5.0.Sve to lijepo izgleda tu nema prigovora ali prica je plitka i tu je sva ta lijepota propala,istopljena kao snijeg na suncu...
Za one koje vole citate tu ima citata od:Heidegger,Cocteau,Weil,Valéry,Gursdorf,Chopin...
Na kraju jos da dodam da crtacica predlaze da se ovaj strip cita uz trecu simfoniju Henryk Gorecki-og "Simfonija Tuznih Pjesama" ili za one manje pesimisticne "Angels Embrace" od Jon Anderson-a.
For the record nisam citao ovaj strip uz ovu muziku mozda je to razlog slabe ocijene,but I doubt it !

Mnogo je bolji "Mrak" by Redzic :-))
I've always been a nobody. When i was a child, my mother used to confuse me with my brother, even though i'm an only child. To this day she still thinks i'm my brother. |
