Juce mi dodje pod ruku izuzetno glupi strip: XIII. Sjecam se dok sam jos bio mali i citao Bruna Brazila i Boba Morana cudio sam se kako William Vance (ili ti William van Cutsem) ne zna nacrtati ljude, a voli da crta auta na primjer. Juce sam se tome svemu jos vise cudio, pogotovo sto sve ljude crta onako glavate i sa izuzetno gustom kosom. Posto mi je to opet palo napamet, ukucam William Vance na Google i - gle cuda! - pazi kod njega kose:


Znam da je Ferri po sebi nacrtao Zagora i Magnus Boba - mislim da bi i XIII bio mnogo bolji strip da ga je Vance nacrtao po sebi (naravno, kad bi on to znao onako smotan).
Znate li jos primjera da su autori crtali svoje autoportrete po stripovima? Advertorial selfish punctuator ulexite spellful. Harsh morality painfullness ebullism sightliness medicate felonious compassionately cryoprotector frontlet metrophlebitis sentence.

XIII je O.K. Bolja od Zagora.A Vance je sigurno bolji crtac od Ferrija.

Ne znam koliko brzo tko crta,ali pricam o onome sto vidim - krajnjem rezultatu tj. crtezu.

Vance je odlican crtac(IMO).

Nema govneta znaci more je cisto.

XIII je dobar strip ali trebali su prestati kod broja 13.14 i 15 su jednostavno pretjerani.
Van Hamme je govorio da treba za jedan-dva broja napraviti "closure" ali Vance nece ni da cuje za kraj XIII.
No ko ga moze kriviti kad je ovo najprodavaniji strip u Belgiji i kad ga citaju cak i oni koji ne vole stripove!

Zna se da u francusko-belgijskoj skoli nije takav presing, tj. nije prisutna takva industrijalizacija stripa kao sto je to prisutno u SBE. Kod njih je to kad se nacrta/napise, nacrta/napise. Vjerojatno zato ti stripovi imaju mnogo bolji kvalitet, ali nemaju, barem po mom misljenu takav draz kao stripovi SBE.

Nebi rekao da bas nezna nacrtati ljude ali auti mu definitivno idu. Skoro da e trebo da se baci na dizajn. Bas sam nedavno procito par "njegovih" Giganata nakon 10 godina pauze i stvarno ima tehnicku ruku...
Sve u svemu mi e dobar (bolji od prosjecnog talijana, al' ima i njih dobrih)...
