I don't have possibility to watch your programmes. From EBU we can only right to transmit SLO1 or SLO2 (I work in cable TV so I know it), but we didn't that becuase nobody is interested to watch it in lack of knowing your language. Older people, who remmember russian language maybe would watch, but young generation don't have any knowing of slavian langauges (that's pitty, because for me knowing slavian langauges helped alot).I understand from slavian languages just polish and russian. Your language is very familar, but not enough to understand all what you here or on Zak Sagite are writing.
I don't wanna play fool here with nobody. I just asked for help from people of goodwill.

markos, the webmaster, doesnt want the extra publicity (one of the biggest problems for the site is the attendance to this forum, people keep coming and coming, and the money keeps going and going... :)) by bringing more people (like you) that dont understand the language but find the site worthwile. unfortunately, it is so.
but the texts ARE good, and its the shame not to read them. you just have to make the selection, which ones best to use, cos your people wouldnt read just anything about anybody. so think more about what should be on your site.

Emir: I agree :) but they wouldnt. most of this stuff is foreign to them, and probably not very interesting (at least, not all of them), so you have to go by the numbers: what people want, you give it to them. Thats why Marko has done such a good job :)

The important thing to know is whether your site is oriented towards the Lithuanian audience (with the info about the world comics) or towards the world (with the info on Lithuanian comics). In any case you'd need a concept, an idea of what you want before you can solicit help. I mean, I can send you various articles I've written about some well or lesser-known comics from the Balkans and abroad, but they were all written with Croatian/Yugoslav audience in mind, refering to our common experience, pushing the buttons I hoped will get them interested. Any article written for the Lithuanian audience should keep in mind the specifics of such an audience ...
But enough of preaching ... If you need contacts for specific artists or needs for specific articles, please contact me on my e-mail.

Well I wan't that such comics would appear in country. It looks primitive and jokes are silly. I prefer other kind of humour. But maybe I am wrong, because I saw that comics almost 12 years ago. |
