Mister No is probably being cloesd with the 360-th number on his 30-th anniversary. They say that Nick Raider is goging to be closed, too. NR is going to be closed on his 200-th number.

Yes, 360th should be the last one. Nolitta will write the story after many years.

I hope myself too, that MN will not die.I'm always sad when I read that any of the comics is going to close, although I didn't read it.And I think that Mister No is so popular and he is so famous(i saw on one quiz question:How is called MN's aeroplane), that it shouldn't close.But all of us here can just hope, we can't change a lot of things.
It's nice to be important, but it's more important to be nice. |

No, it's not a hoax. I've spoken to Roberto Diso yesterday and he confirmed me that Sergio Bonelli is wrting the last story of Mister No, but he doesn't know if he is going to draw it or someone else. Personally, I hope that Diso will draw it (despite the fact that he is currently drawing his third Tex episode), it wouldn't be right if someone else draw the last story of MN instead of Roberto Diso. Regarding the closure, I'm the great fan of Mister No, but yet, I'm not so sad. Mister No in last few years has become the shadow of the character it used to be in the beggining. It's better to close the series then to go on with destroying the character and it's charisma...

Maybe Ferri(despite the fact i prefere Diso's vision of mr. No)? He opened that chapter, maybe he should close it, as well?

I guess it is hard to decide when authors will close some comic.If it is very famous then is logical they won't close it.Because if they would, they would make people angry and disappointed.On the other hand, if they continue publishing comic, it soon becomes shadow of original as Markos says, and it is not what it has to be.And then it isn't famous anymore and people don't like it very much.So I'm afraid that's going to happen with some comics in the future, who are now very popular but soon they will become shadow of the original ones.Sad

It is very sad to hear that Mister No will close In Turkey, we will read original 227th issue of Mister No. (Turkey is very backward from Mister No original issues, nearly 10 years)!
In my personal opinion, I want to say that the first adventures of Mister No is very good than the last ones. For instance; Ananga, il mio nome e Mister No, Africa adventures, Sfida al Pantanal....etc... who can forget these adventures? These are wonderful adventures of Mister No. But then it becomes 'replying' himself! But altough this, I like Mister No very much and I hope Bonelli wii change their mind and Mister No will continue to publish.

Maybe they will prolong MrNo's demise for some time if the sales went drastically up, but if the news is official it's already done. I'm just hoping they won't kill him for real. I would prefer some missing in action kind of not realy ending...like- maybe he'll come back one day...
