Hi to all my frends,
I want to write about a book about Martin Mystere which is called Mart:in Mister. The book is about in which countries Martin is publishing, by which publishing house and list of adventures in each countries. The countries are; Turkey, Brazil, Germany, Spain, France, USA, Norway, Holland, Greece and Ex Yugoslavia (which includes also Croatia). Turkey is the country which has the most pages in the book..18 pages are belongs to Turkey in the book  heheheheheheh...I will write its details soon.

We got those books in Milano few days ago (maybe from the same person as you ;)), and Markos already read the most of it so I guess he'll write his review of the book soon too. I just took a quick peek and found some errors in ex. Yu lists but nothing major, only typos. :)

I will scan some pages these days and put it online so you can all see what it's about. basically, they gathered all the information about foreign MM issues on one place, so you can find out more about Turkey, France, Spain and ex.Yu editions (and more). What's important for us is that there's a picture of www.stripovi.com with detail instructions how to find all the MM covers on our site:-) I think I really should made an italaian and english version...

No it isn't because, obviously, only Italian are interested in foreign editions, why shuold someone from Croatia be interested in Turkish editons od MM ?

The same way italians would be interested in foreign editions. Complete review of italian edition of MM can be found on Bonelli site, but it's not the same with foreign editions. First one would have a good review of MM editions in his country and it would be nice to see the front pages and commentaries of other foreign editions. If the book was bilingual I suppose it would be interested to sell it in comic stores like Morecomics and Darkwood, visited by comic fans.
Of course we are just guessing. Maybe the book is already selling bad in Italy and it would have not be sold in many copies in other countries. But I suppose there would be several fans of MM from this site who would purchase the book if it was published both in italian and english language. |

I was outside of teh city so I couldnt write the details about the book. Now, I want to write something about countries which has Martin Mystere.
BRAZÝL:
Martin published in Brazil firstly in 1987 by Globo editore (than it changed Rio Grafica editore). It published by montly 13 issues with 96 pages. After this, it didnt publish for some years. Between 1990-1992, Record editore published Martin for 17 issues. Beside this, they published Martin-Dylan team-up (Ultima fermata:l'incubo). Martin is publishing by Mythos editore now in Brazil.
FRANCE:
Martin published in France by LUG editions inside the magazine OMBRAX by montlywith 128 pages. The covers were drwan by Jean Frisano. It published 32 issues between the years 1983-1987. Beside this, they published 'il libro di Toth and il segreto di Nuraghe'. In 1983, Glenat editore started to publish our hero. The covers were drwan by VÝLLA. Martin is publishing inside the magazine of MUSTANG now. Also, Erko-distibution hachette published some issues of Dr. Mystere.
GERMANY:
Martin was publishing in Germany under the name of ALAN DARK in 1986 with 6 issues. In 2003, KULT editionen published Dr. Mystere.
GREECE:
Martin was publishing in Greece in 2000, just for 4 issues by montly.
NORWAY:
Martin Mystere was publishing in Norwayinside the magazine of Agent X9 in 1999. They published some adventures from Special serie of Martin.
HOLLAND:
They were just publishing 1 issue from Dr. Mystere.
SPAÝN:
Mystere was publishing in Spain firstly by Ediciones Zinco in 1982. Until the 11th issue, it was publishing with the format of Bonelli. Aafter this issue, it published with 'Comics' format. It closed after 17th issue. In 1992, they were published the adventure of 'elmistero de la sagrada familia' and in 2003, there was one adventure of Dr. Mystere.
USA: Dark Horse was publishing 6 issues of Martin with format of Bonelli.
TURKEY:
In my country, Martin was publishing firstly by TAY editore. It has three series. In the first serie, they published 31 issues. In the second one, there were 72 issues and the third one is Big albums of Martin which were the re-print of first and second series. The covers were drawn by a Turkish artist called ASLAN SUKUR. Then AD (Dogan Egmont) editore published MARTÝN for 31 issues and then AKSOY editore for 15 issues. Martin is publishing by LAL editore for now with two differnet series: New Martin Mystere and Special serie of Martin Mystere. And Oglak editore is publishing the Gigante albums of Martin and two team up adventures with Dylan Dog.
