Phantom, Mandrake the Magician, Katzenjammer Kids, Little Nemo in Slumberland, Tothov Zorro, Krazy Kat, Popeye, Dick Tracy, Lil' Abner, Prince Valiant, Steve Canyon, Little Lulu, Flash Gordon, Rip Kirby, Spirit, Tarzan, Sterankov Nick Fury...

A catwoman signal? Hitman rula. |

Dašta, Section 8. Bueno ima super moc: "He fights evil with the power of perversion." Hehehe, a tek ludi Francuz Jean de Baton-Baton, ili Defenestator...

This is not an official DC project; the continuity suggested herein should not be considered canon. It is only one befuddled man’s attempt to figure out the order in which Infinite Crisis, all related minis and all tie-ins occurred, in an effort to make the whole thing gel as one story, as DC has said it would.
This is not for sale; pass it around at will, to any and all comics fans who might find it useful. I am also not asking for credit (as some people online do when posting a walkthrough of a videogame, or somesuch), if you post it somewhere. My only hope is that, as readers enjoying this story, we can collectively sift through the details that make this story fit.
This might be an Infinite Crisis, but I don’t have infinite resources. Some issues I don’t have will not have as comprehensive lists of heroes and villains as I’d like. As such, I will happily accept any corrections, or additions. Email me with any of those at scottewillia@yahoo.com. This is only a first rough draft. I hope to have a final draft ready before the “One Year Later” jump occurs. I am also looking for books with Luthor close-ups, to see what color his eyes are, in various appearances.
It’s important to note that it seems like the last eight months of DCU books seem to take place over a matter of several days, few weeks, at most, so timing is tight (particularly when trying to figure out how Hawkman got into so much stuff).
And be warned, there will be spoilers in here. When I’m finished, I’ll also release a list with nothing but the issues, in chronological order.
Note 1: All Green Arrow references are Oliver Queen, unless otherwise noted; all green Lantern mentions have the last name of the character after them
Note 2: As we are using characters’ appearances to denote the order of the stories, we’re not including characters only appearing in flashback in our issue-by-issue list of heroes/villains
Note 3: As “twin” Luthors are a lynchpin of the story, we will identify the Society Luthor as Alex Luthor, and the Luthor who turns out to be Mockingbird, as well as the Luthor of current continuity, as Luthor (M)
Acknowledgements: DC’s “Crisis Counseling” was an invaluable resource; as were posters Kon-El, Brian Thomer, Brian LaBelle, MANY others on the Geoff Johns boards and PARTICULARLY poster Mark Shaw, whose meticulous eye caught and straightened many tangles I had created; and thanks to the only place I’d ever go to pick up my books – Bedrock City Comic Co., in Houston, TX – Best **** comics shop in the USA.
Setting the stage:
• If you want, you can brush up on your multiple earth history with the trade paperbacks Crisis on Multiple Earths: The Team Ups, and Crisis on Multiple Earths Vol 1 through 3. Other Silver Age and 1970s books of note are All-Star Comics 58 (first appearance of Power Girl and first ongoing JSA title in 30 years), Secret Society of Super Villains 13 and 14 (where you can not only see that the JLA 115-119 arc radically changed the membership, but you’ll see the first story with any real in-depth look at Earth-3) and Justice League (1st series) 166-168, where the Secret Society takes over the Leaguers’ bodies, creating the template for the mindwiping story.
• DC Comics Presents Annual 1 (1982): Superman (Earth 1) and Superman (Earth 2). Heroes: The Supermen, Earth 3 Luthor Villains: Luthor of Earths 1 and 2; Ultraman (evil Superman counterpart from Earth 3) Significance: First appearance of heroic Earth 3 Luthor, who fathers Alexander Luthor, the character who returns in Infinite Crisis
• DC Comics Presents 87 (1985): Superman (Earth 1) and Superboy (Earth Prime) Significance: First appearance of the aforementioned Superboy, who returns in Infinite Crisis
• Crisis on Infinite Earths 1-12 Heroes: Nearly all Villains: ditto Significance: This limited series consolidated the multiverse into a single universe, effectively rebooting all DC continuity.
• Teen Titans/Young Justice Graduation Day Notes: Donna Troy killed by renegade Superman robots
• Wonder Woman 195 Introduction of Jonah McCarthy as Wonder Woman’s new embassy attorney Notes:
• Batman/Superman 1-6 Luthor (M – note his green eyes) loses presidency, vows in #6 that “there will be … a crisis”
• Adventures of Superman 630 Mr Mxyzptlk warns Superman of “a crisis on earth.” Superman thinks he’s kidding.
• Identity Crisis 1-3 Significance: Sue Dibny, wife of Elongated Man, is murdered; we learn the JLA “mind-wiped” various super-villains
• Flash 214 Heroes: Flash, Arsenal, Nightwing, Atom, Hawkman, Black Canary, Green Lantern (Rayner), Zatanna, Green Arrow, Kid Flash Villains: Mirror Master, Capt. Cold, Weather Wizard, Trickster II Placement: This occurs immediately after the JLA-Deathstroke fight in Identity Crisis 3, based on Flash’s account of it on Page 1
• Identity Crisis 4
• Flash 215 Heroes: Flash, Firehawk, Blue Beetle, Booster Gold, Heat Wave, Pied Piper, Batman, Nightwing, Zatanna Placement: The timing intertwines with Identity Crisis 5, as the same types of interrogations are going on in both books
• Identity Crisis 5 Significance: Capt. Boomerang and Jack Drake (father of Robin) kill each other after Boomerang breaks into Drake’s home
• Deadshot 1 Heroes: Deadshot (sort of) Villains: Killer Frost, Firebug Takes place after Deadshot’s last Identity Crisis appearance, as he’s back to work
• Deadhost 2 Heroes: Deadshot, Green Arrow Placement: Green Arrow’s presence suggests this occurs before the end of Teen Titans 20
• Deadshot 3-4 Heroes: Deadshot, Green Arrow Villains: The Closer
• Deadshot 5 Heroes: Deadshot, Green Arrow Villains: Deadline, Javelin, Schreck, Pathfinder, Sudden Death, Sidewinder, Metamorpheus, Kaliber
• Flash 216 Heroes: Flash, Zatanna, Green Arrow, Green Arrow (Connor) Villains: The Top, Capt. Cold, Weather Wizard, Trickster II Placement: It’s after Identity Crisis 5 and intertwined with Identity Crisis 6, as the Rogues watch a TV news account of Boomerang’s death; The conversation between Flash and Green Arrow shown this issue takes place in Identity Crisis 6
• JSA 67 Heroes: Mr Terrific, Dr. Mid-Nite Placement: The end of Identity Crisis 6 takes place immediately after the end of this issue, as evidenced by Mr. Terrific’s announcement on the last page of this issue (“I know who killed Sue Dibny.”)
• Villains United 1 Core Society members: Calculator, Talia, Black Adam, Alex Luthor, Dr. Psycho, Deathstroke Society members recruited: Mr. Freeze, Multiplex, Shadow Thief, Cheetah, Black Manta, Felix Faust, Fadeaway Man, Gentleman Ghost, Cicada, Fatality, Girder, Knockout, Phobia, Skorpio, Prometheus, Plasmus, Body Doubles, Grodd, Sabbac Secret Six members: Catman, Deadshot, Scandal, Cheshire, Clown, Parademon, Fiddler (dies), Luthor (M) Notes: Black Adam’s already in The Society, so this is after JSA 70
• Identity Crisis 6
• Identity Crisis 7
• Flash 217 Heroes: Flash, Batman, James Jesse, Pied Piper Villains (incomplete list): Mirror Master, Weather Wizard, Murmur, Capt Boomerang II (1st appearance outside Identitiy Crisis), Cicada, Turtle, Abra Kadabra, Girder, Grodd, Top, Dr. Alchemy, Tar Pit, Rainbow Raiders, Capt. Cold, Cheetah, Zoom Placement: Cheetah has already joined The Society when she frees Zoom, as Wonder Woman 214 confirms, so this is after Villains United 1. In Batman’s confrontation with Flash, Batman says, "Captain Boomerang was the one that [killed Jack Drake]. Hired by Jean Loring to help cover the trail. To try to confuse us." So this is right after Identity Crisis 7, as Batman would likely not wait long before taking the opportunity to ream someone out over what happened to Drake.
• Green Lantern: Rebirth 1 Heroes: Green Lanterns (Rayner, Stewart, Alan Scott), Spectre (Jordan), Green Arrow, Guy Gardner, Speedy, Dr. Mid-Nite, Martian Manhunter, Batman, Superman, Power Girl, Wonder Woman, Golden-Age Flash, Mr. Terrific, Jade, Flash, Aquaman Villains: Black Hand, Hector Hammond (in prison)
• Flash 218 Heroes: Heat Wave, James Jesse, Pied Piper Villains: Murmur, Capt Cold Significance: Heat Wave starts to tip back towards villainy
• Green Lantern: Rebirth 2 Heroes: Green Lanterns (Rayner, Stewart, Alan Scott, Kilowog), Spectre (Jordan), Green Arrow, Guy Gardner, Dr. Mid-Nite, Martian Manhunter, Batman, Superman, Wonder Woman, Golden-Age Flash, Mr. Terrific, Jade, Flash, Aquaman, Zatanna Villains: Parallax (unseen, but pulling strings)
• Manhunter 6 Heroes: Manhunter Villains: Shadow Thief Notes: Calculator takes contract on Shadow Thief
• Green Lantern: Rebirth 3 Heroes: Green Lanterns (Rayner, Stewart, Kilowog, Guy Gardner), Spectre (Jordan), Green Arrow, Batman, Superman, Wonder Woman, Flash, Aquaman, Zatanna Villains: Parallax, Sinestro
• Manhunter 7 Heroes: Manhunter Villains: Shadow Thief Notes: Calculator
• Green Lantern: Rebirth 4 Heroes: Green Lanterns (Rayner, Stewart, Kilowog, Guy Gardner, Alan Scott, JORDAN), Green Arrow, Batman, Superman, Wonder Woman, Aquaman, Zatanna, Hawkman, Hawkgirl, Wildcat, Hourman, Golden-Age Flash, Power Girl, Supergirl, Robin, Superboy, Wonder Girl, Cyborg, Kid Flash, Beast Boy, Raven, Jade, Stargirl, Dr Fate Villains: Parallax, Sinestro
• Manhunter 8 Heroes: Manhunter Villains: Shadow Thief, Phobia, Monocle, Merlyn
• Green Lantern: Rebirth 5 Heroes: Green Lanterns (Rayner, Stewart, Kilowog, Guy Gardner, Jordan), Green Arrow, Batman, Superman, Wonder Woman, Aquaman, Zatanna, Flash Villains: Parallax, Sinestro
• Manhunter 9 Heroes: Manhunter Villains: Shadow Thief Notes: Calculator
• Green Lantern: Rebirth 6 Heroes: Green Lanterns (Rayner, Stewart, Kilowog, Guy Gardner, Alan Scott, Jordan), Green Arrow, Batman, Superman, Wonder Woman, Aquaman, Zatanna, Flash, Jade, Wildcat, Golden-Age Flash, Dr. Fate, Hourman, Hawkman, Hawkgirl, Stargirl, Cyborg, Superboy, Kid Flash, Robin Villains: Parallax, Hector Hammond
• Wonder Woman 210 Heroes: Wonder Woman Villains: Medusa Notes: WW loses vision, fighting Medusa
• Flash 219 Heroes: Flash, Wonder Woman Villains: Zoom, Cheetah, Giganta
• Wonder Woman 214 Heroes: Flash, Wonder Woman Villains: Zoom, Cheetah, Dr. Psycho Placement: Cheetah recruits Zoom into Society, so Cheetah’s already a member; this puts it after Villains United 1
• JSA 70 Heroes: JSA is in the past Villains: Black Adam, Talia, Dr Psycho, Deathstroke, Luthor, Calculator Note: Black Adam joins The Society
• Robin 137 Heroes: Robin Villains: Penguin, Dark Rider Notes: Penguin uses Society contacts to find an assassin (Rider) to kill Robin
• Manhunter 10 Heroes: Manhunter, Firehawk Villains: Shadow Thief Notes: Calculator, Phobia, Monocle, Merlyn
• Batgirl 63 Heroes: Batgirl Villains: Penguin, Ravager, Deathstroke Notes: Penguin is now allied with The Society
• Batgirl 64 Heroes: Batgirl Villains: Penguin, Deathstroke, Ravager
• Robin 138 Heroes: Robin Villains: Penguin Notes: Robin references Deathstroke contract on Batgirl when shaking down Penguin, so this is after Batgirl 63-64
• Wonder Woman 217 Notes: Wonder Woman regains her sight, lost to Medusa in 210
• Adventures of Superman 636 Heroes: Superman, Batman, Wonder Woman Villains: Ruin, Luthor (S?) Notes: Wonder Woman learns of mindwiping; she can see, putting this after Wonder Woman 217
• Adventures of Superman 638 Mxyzptlk returns, to repeat his warning. This time, he confronts both Lois and Superman, warning them of “dark times head” and tells them, “Everything that happens, it happens because of the two of you.”
• Teen Titans 20 Heroes: Robin, Starfire, Cyborg, Superboy, Kid Flash, Wonder Girl, Raven, Beast Boy, Green Arrow Villains: Electrocutioner, Luthor (M?), Dr. Light Placement: Robin’s father was killed “last week;” first appearance of the Luthor suit since Identity Crisis 1; Luthor’s talk w/ Calculator (Epilogue 1) suggests Calc knows there are two Luthors; Dr. Light kidnaps Green Arrow at end, meaning all other GA appearances happen before this issue, or after Titans 23
• Action 826 Heroes: Superman, Capt. Marvel Villains: Eclipso Notes: Shazam tells Capt Marvel, "The past has come back to haunt us again. But unlike before...that was the beginning...now we are reaching the end."
• Adventures of Superman 639 Heroes: Superman, Capt. Marvel Villains: Eclipso
• Superman 216 Heroes: Superman, Capt. Marvel Villains: Eclipso Notes: Spectre threatens Shazam, Eclipso’s gem, power somehow gets to Jean Loring, in Arkham Asylum, meaning this happens very shortly before Day of Vengeance 1
• Teen Titans 22 Heroes: Green Arrow, Speedy, Raven, Robin, Superboy, Wonder Girl, Cyborg, Kid Flash, Beast Boy, Grace, Indigo, Nightwing, Starfire, Jade, Arsenal, Thunder, Shift, Flash Villains: Dr. Light Placement: Flash’s appearance means this happens either before or after Rogue War, likely after
• Teen Titans 22 Heroes: Raven, Cyborg, Speedy, Robin, Kid Flash, Beast Boy, Superboy, Wonder Girl, Green Arrow, Hawk, Dove, Tempest, Capt. Marvel Jr, Hornblower, Wildebeest, Flash, Starfire, Harlequin, Red Star, Arsenal, Pantha, Flamebird, Bumblebee Villains: Dr. Light, Deathstroke (as Batman), Ravager (as Batgirl) Placement: Deathstroke says “They (Society) want him,” telling us this is before Light’s scene with Society members in Countdown
• Teen Titans 23 Heroes: Raven, Cyborg, Speedy, Robin, Kid Flash, Beast Boy, Superboy, Wonder Girl, Green Arrow, Hawk, Dove, Tempest, Capt. Marvel Jr, Hornblower, Wildebeest, Flash, Starfire, Harlequin, Red Star, Arsenal, Pantha, Flamebird, Bumblebee, Mirage Villains: Dr. Light, Deathstroke (as Batman), Ravager (as Batgirl) Placement: Nightwing notes the Outsiders break-in in Outsiders 20 just happened, placing this book between Outsiders 20 and 21
• Countdown to Infinite Crisis Heroes: Blue Beetle, Oracle, Booster Gold, Batman, Cyborg, Hawkman, Wonder Girl, Dr. Fate, Green Arrow, Nightwing, Black Canary, Power Girl, Hawkgirl, Flash, Green Lantern (Jordan), Superman, Capt. Marvel, Wonder Woman, Martian Manhunter, Adam Strange Villains: Max Lord, The Madmen, Calculator, Deathstroke, Dr. Psycho, Alex Luthor, Talia, Black Adam, Dr. Light Placement: “Four days ago,” according to the caption, Batman says, “I know what they (JLA) did;” appearance of Titans and Outsiders at Kord break-in (Three days before present time in the issue’s narrative) puts this scene after Titans 23; JSA presence at same puts this scene before JSA 73; Adam Strange’s message to Watchtower establishes that Rann-Thanagar War has already begun, although Earth’s Hawks are not there yet, so Rann-Thanagar War 1 hasn’t happened yet. Maybe what we see here is some initial skirmish, because nothing else fits any timeline.
• The OMAC Project 1 Heroes: Batman, Rocket Red 7, Sasha Bordeaux, Midnight, Booster Gold, Wonder Woman Villains: Max Lord, Overthrow Placement: This issue takes place over several days, the time it would take a parcel of mail from Paris to reach Gotham; Batman knows Beetle’s dead, at the end of this issue
• Superman 217 Heroes: Superman Villains: an OMAC Note: Superman does not recognize the OMAC
• Breach 3 Heroes: Breach Villains: Kobra agents, Alex Luthor Notes: Alex Luthor tries to take Breach, to use his powers for some as-yet unknown purpose
• JSA 73 Heroes: Atom Smasher, Mr Terrific, Hawkgirl, Jakeem Thunder, Stargirl, Dr. Mid-Nite, Sentinel (Golden Age GL), Hourman II, Wildcat, Sand, Power Girl, Crimson Avenger, Phantom Lady, Human Bomb, Damage, Ray, Uncle Sam, Hawkman Villains: Spectre, Eclipso, Black Adam Placement: Spectre and Eclipso have already hooked up, so this is after (or around the same time as) the opening of Day of Vengeance 1, but before the rest of that issue
• Superman 218 Heroes: Superman Villains: OMACs, Blackrock, Max Lord (unseen) Notes: Lord’s “It’s Nearly time” comment shows he’s about to cut Superman loose on fellow heroes, even though OMAC Project 3 has him stating he’s doing it earlier than planned
• Outsiders 21 Heroes: Arsenal, Nightwing, Starfire, Batman Villains: Deathstroke Placement: Batman is now starting to remember his own mind-wiping, although “it’s not really clear;” also, he’s in the cave with Nightwing through Outsiders 22, so no Batman appearance happens between this and Outsiders 22
• JSA 74 Heroes: Dr. Fate, Fury, Atom Smasher, Jakeem Thunder, Hourman, Golden Age Green Lantern, Hawkman, Hawkgirl, Capt. Marvel, Sand, Wildcat, Stargirl, Power Girl Villains: Spectre, Eclipso, Black Adam Notes: Spectre takes out Dr. Fate, shown in flashback in Day of Vengeance 2, so this comes before that issue; for remainder of issue, Spectre is fighting in Khandaq; Power Girl’s powers go nuts
• JSA 75 Heroes: Atom Smasher, Jakeem Thunder, Hourman, Golden Age Green Lantern, Hawkman, Hawkgirl, Capt. Marvel, Sand, Wildcat, Stargirl, Power Girl Villains: Spectre, Eclipso, Black Adam Placement: Spectre and Eclipso leave Khandaq
• Day of Vengeance 1 Heroes: Ragman, Enchantress, Nightshade, Animal Man, Vixen, Black Orchid, Deadman, Dr. Occult, I … Vampire, Blue Devil, Nightstalker, Detective Chimp, Capt. Marvel Villains: Eclipso, Spectre, Blackbriar Thorn Placement: The rest of the issue takes place “three weeks later” from the Eclipso breakout of Arkham at the beginning; Shazam and Capt Marvel talk, with Marvel going to stall Spectre coming after Shazam; Shazam already has Beetle scarab, so this is after Countdown
• Outsiders 22 Heroes: Arsenal, Nightwing, Batman, Thunder, Grace, Shift, Starfire, Jade, Shift Villains: Deathstroke Note: Arsenal locks Outsiders in a room at end of book, so no Outsider appearances occur between this and Outsiders 25 (end of story that continues through Titans)
• Villains United 2 Secret 6: Catman, Deadshot, Scandal, Cheshire, Clown, Parademon Society Villains: Calculator, Deathstroke, Talia, Alex Luthor, Dr. Psycho, Weather Wizard, Cheetah, Shadow Thief, Capt. • Rann Thanagar War 1 Heroes: Hawkman, Hawkgirl, Adam Strange, Hawkwoman, Green Lantern (Rayner), Green Lantern (Kilowog) Villains: A Phoenix Placement: Spinning right out of Hawkman 46, the Hawks are still chasing the Phoenix at the open of this issue; fighting depicted while Adam is talking to Hawks could be the combat shown in Countdown, when Adam tried to contact JLA; Hawkman leaves after bulk of JLA 119, but before the “explosive” ending

Tjah.
Tek cetvorka donosi neke stvari vredne pomena.
A za Bludhaven i Barryja - who cares?
