Hi friends,
I want to write about the history of Bonelli characters which are publishing in Turkey. Let's start with ZAGOR:
Zagor is one of the Bonelli character which Turks love him very much.The first publishing of ZAGOR in Turkey was edited by Ceylan publishing house in 1962. They published only 32 issues.In 1970, TAY publishing house start to publish Zagor. The covers of Zagor drawn by different Turkish artist like Aslan, Utkun and Yalcin. TAY publishing house pressed Zagor with different formats:
Fasicul(32 or 64 pages): 465 issues
Cilt: nearly 350 issues
Big Albums: 56 issues
New serie: 103 issues
Special issues: 28 issues
All Zagor's adventures were re-print by 2 or 3 times.In the beginning of 1990s, TAY stopped to publish Zagor.Then ECEM publishing house was start to publish Zagor only 8 issues under the name of 'New Zagor'.
After ECEM, Zagor didnt published in Turkey for some years. In 1996, AD publishing house was start to publish Zagor again. They pressed it from the original number of 355(Conquistadores). AD continue only 32 issues.After that AKSOY pub.house pressed Zagor only 13 issues.In 2002, LAL publishing house was taken the copyright of Zagor and published it with very beautiful translation, format and press. So, Zagor met again with its turkish fans.The first number of LAL is 'il clan della isole'.(original 389).
And OGLAK pub.house published 4 Special issue of Zagor in one album(Legendary adventures of Zagor over 500 pages), because of the 40th year of Zagor in November 2001.(Anima nera, il segreto di Cristoforo Colombo, La leggenda di Wandering Fitzy and I Cavalieri del Graal).

Can you tell us more about the formats of the comics being published in Turkey (Bonelli first and for most)is it the same format like used in Italy and also was there any censure : like throwing out the pages,wrong translations,changing the covers and so on.

Its price is nearly 8-10 euro.

In the past, It is not like italian format. They are a little bit small format and covers were drawn by Turkish artist. They were also published with mixed order. Some of the adventures were not published.But now they are publishing like italian format and original covers.
