Shanghai Devil

| sangaj devil mi se cini kao nastavak skrivenog lica...stim da ce se u skrivenom licu zavrsiti prica o etiopiji i samom skrivenom licu..a u sangaj devilu samo ce radnja stripa biti premestana..i dalje cemo imati istorijsku konotaciju....jednostavno,tata i sin ce trgovackim putem i obavezama iz etiopije preci na drugu teritoriju,tacnije azijski kontinent i tamo ce opet doci do nekog sukoba u koji ce oni biti upleteni...sasvim odvojena prica od skrivenog lica..samo su akteri isti..naravno,negativci su drugi.......svaki swerijal nosi naziv po glavnim negativcima...u prvom serijalu bio je to skriveno lice,sada u novom bice sangaj devil,sangajski djavo....pa ce ih put kasnije odvesti u neki drugi deo sveta,tamo ce biti novi negativac i po njemu ce se zvati serijal..sve u svemu,zanimljivo....ima tu materijala za jos puno dobrih epizoda i kratkih serijala tog tipa..voleo bi videti posto je to to vreme i prelaz iz 19 u 20 vek,voleo bi videti i nesto sa nasih prostora...kraj osmanlijskog carstva,nove granice evrope i balkana....mnostvo zanimljivog materijala,jedva cekam....ali prvo da mi kompletiramo nase skriveno lice |

Su “Sette” inserto del Corriere della Sera del 28 aprile c’è un articolo dedicato a Dylan dog che sta per tagliare il traguardo dei 300 numeri pubblicati. Subito dopo c’è un’intervista a Sergio Bonelli.
Me l’ha segnalato il mio edicolante lettore di fumetti.
Parte dell'intervista:
Per intercettare le tensioni dei giovani non sarebbe più facile mettere in commercio un videogame di Nathan Never o un album con le figurine/gioco di Martin Mystère?
«Mi sono sempre rifiutato. Io faccio fumetti. Di carta. E poi il nostro pubblico non è così giovane».
Qual è l’età media dei vostri lettori?
«Non credo che ce ne siano sotto i 17 anni».
Un cartone animato però potreste farlo.
«Di Tex? Mai. Forse Zagor sarebbe più adatto».
Perché?
«Perché ha un lato comico».
Zagor è una sua creatura. È un personaggio che sembra avere una psicologia più complessa rispetto a Tex. Si pone dubbi…
«Io e mio padre eravamo molto diversi. Lo sono anche i nostri personaggi».
Suo padre si è sempre opposto a inserire scene comiche negli albi di Tex.
«Sì. Ma io che mi occupavo della casa editrice sapevo che Capitan Miki e Bleck Macigno, avversari di Tex in edicola, vendevano il triplo anche perché avevano delle formidabili spalle comiche».
È per questo che quando nel 1961 lei crea Zagor gli affianca il panciuto Cico?
«Sì. Ma Zagor nasce anche da un’altra esigenza: capire se il lavoro degli sceneggiatori valeva tutti i soldi che gli davo».
Lei come sceneggiatore si è sempre firmato Guido Nolitta.
«Per non creare confusione con mio padre, che al fumetto ha dedicato tutta la vita».
Quanti fumetti vende oggi la Bonelli Editore?
«Nel mese di luglio, che è il più florido, circa 900mila. Qualche anno fa eravamo a quota 3 milioni. Parliamo di una ventina di personaggi, eh».
Il fumetto è in crisi?
«È in trincea. Prima la tv. Poi i giochi elettronici, i telefonini… Intrattenimento facile per i ragazzi. Imbattibile. I fumetti invece hanno bisogno di silenzio e concentrazione. Chi fa fumetti è destinato a una battaglia di retroguardia. Ma questo è un problema di chi verrà dopo di me».
Chi verrà dopo di lei?
«Mio figlio Davide, che ha quarant’anni».
Il suo più grande errore da editore?
«Mettere in circolazione troppe “testate a fumetti”. Cinque mi sarebbero bastate».
Quali?
«Tex, Zagor, Ken Parker, Martin Mystère e Dylan Dog. Tex e Dylan permettono a tutti gli altri di andare avanti».
Non ha messo nella lista il suo secondo “figlio”: Mister No.
«L’idea di quel personaggio mi venne durante i miei viaggi in Amazzonia e dopo aver conosciuto un pilota americano in Messico. L’ho chiuso qualche anno fa. Vendeva ancora ventitremila copie».
Un fumetto che vende quelle cifre va chiuso?
«Se sei un editore che paga bene i disegnatori sì. Io li pago bene e li rispetto. Anche perché li frequento da quando sono nato».
