Bobi Marotti preminuo u noći s subote na nedjelju u Zagrebu, javlja HRT. Jedan je od osnivača kazališta Gavella, u kojem je radio od 1953. do mirovine, 1981. godine. Bilo mu je 89 godina.

Veliki, može se reći i nemjerljiv gubitak za naše glumište. Čovjek je do zadnjeg radio i nije ga zaustavila ni činjenica što je ostao bez noge. Legenda kakve teško više da će biti.

Bobi, hvala ti što si me uveseljavao u djetinjstvu svojim legendarnim glasom. Počivaj u miru.
