North America, 1774. A giant with long blond hair runs silently in the forest. He wears a fur jacket that reveals an impressive musculature. His name Blek le Roc is a trapper and American English fight the oppressor, that is to say, the red coats. Accompanied by the young and brilliant Professor Roddy occult two stooges who make a comic note to the stories, he lives in the forest with his trapper but his missions, often ordered by the Lord Advocate Connolly, the leader of the resistance, the lead around (and even a Viking civilization. Kiwi No. 7-11, The Treasury dAkbad). Scenarios and drawings may seem simplistic to some, however, was dreaming Blek several generations of readers, who recall with nostalgia a few significant stories. Let us go to discuss the bat, this elusive and hooded British spy who died keeping his secret struggle against the terrible man-lynx (inspired by a film in which Gary Cooper played the lead role), Peter Van Peter Dutchman ghost risen from the grave to raise the Indian tribes, Captain Savage, one of the best blades of America, which causes him to a duel Blek a trap ... idealist, ready to sacrifice himself for the cause of freedom, Blek le Roc embodied a model of loyalty and generosity that could only generate the unconditional admiration of his readers. We can also compare and contrast the humanism of the head of the trappers, avoiding any unnecessary violence, able to forgive his enemies and the ruthless Tex Willer, ready àsaisir any excuse to beat up an opponent. But it is true that the age groups covered were no different. Or ideology. Blek had the merit of preceding consecutive fashion trappers to the Davy Crockett TV movies produced by Walt Disney in 1955. Rather, it is in the novels of Fenimore Cooper and Zane Grey the authors drew their inspiration.

Creators:
Released, like most Italian comic adventures of this period as "strisce" Il Grande Blek, born October 3, 1954, is the work of a studio formed by three artists from Turin who used their initials to sign the initials Esse Esse-G-Sinchetto Giovanni (1925-1991), Dario Guzzon (1926) and Pietro Sartoris (1926-1989). Their association with Kinowa was born in 1950, a western written by Andrea Lavezzolo. The following year, they realize Miki. Flanked by two friends, Rum and Double-Bleeding, the captain of the Rangers re-established order in Nevada. But a dispute with their publisher, Dardo, forcing them to abandon Miki and Blek the hands of a new team of authors who will never regain the spirit of these bands. Sinchetto and his two accomplices then dedicated to Alan Mistero (Ombrax), a vigilante master of disguise, and Commander Mark (Cap'n Swing).

Blek in France: September 10, 1955 is the result Publishing LUG Blek (under the generic title The Little Trapper, thus favoring curiously Roddy) in Kiwi, a monthly pocket destined to experience a huge success. Each issue of Kiwi adapted four "strisce" week. Given the difference in size, covers Italian unsuitable. Kiwi were therefore those of a specific work for the publisher in Lyon. It was entrusted to an excellent graphic designer who died recently, the Italian Antonio Canale (perhaps best known as the Tony Chan, a pseudonym he used to sign Amok). Canale, author of the first 51 covers, has value to the characters in the studio-G-Esse Esse. Boards Esse Esse-G-appeared in the Kiwi No. 1 to No. 137. From No. 178 Kiwi, the character has ceased to appear in Italy, continuing in the Publishing LUG new episodes. They are produced mainly by the prolific Cedroni Carlo, but some French designers attack the famous trapper:
- André Amouriq drew 47 stories in a style may be too grotesque.
- Jean-Yves Mitton provided 22 stories through which, with the help of his accomplice and writer Marcel Navarro, he was able to parry Blek an epic.
- The young and talented Ciro Tota is the author of six stories should not be missed.
There was also a Kiwi version Yugoslav unconvincing.
Currently, Blek always appears only in the form of editions, in two pockets Monthly: Kiwi and Blek.

Zulu French Library No. 7 (October 1984): Blek le Roc has 30 years, Esteban. In addition to this article, the first ever inter-view studio Esse Esse-G-by Mourad Boudjellal (same Boudjellal prepares for his Éditions Soleil, a full album by Blek, forthcoming in January 1994) .

Note. Note that the series of Antonio De Vita, L'Aigle de Clermont, referred to in the first part of this study (CBD 72, p. 34), appeared in Pipo from No. 57 (June 1955) Blek reprinted and completed in 277 to 328.
