izgleda da ce 2013 biti prepuna dobrih (ako ne i odlicnih) albuma, svasta sam skidao ovid dana, od onog ovlas preslusanog izdvojio bih na brzaka:

Youth Lagoon - Wondrous Bughouse

Rhye - Woman

Local natives - Hummingbird

Grouper - The Man who died in his boat

Matmos - The marriage of true minds

Dosta sam ocekivao i od

Autre Ne Veut - Anxiety

ali mislim da sam se prevario :/

Modest Mouse - The Moon & Antarctica (Epic, 2000.)



Kultni album ovog američkog indie rock benda i album koji ih je stavio na mapu na jednog od najzanimljivijih i najbitnijih bendova ranih nultih. Podjednako melodičan i energičan, The Moon & Antarctica progovara o filozofskim (pogotovo o ateizmu i pojmu Boga koji su konstantna okupacija tekstopisca i pjevača Isaaca Brocka), ali i o osobnim temama. Jedan od onih albuma koji mogu promijeniti nečiji život.

Poslje (jos neoficijalnog ) raspada Sonic Youtha , Lee Renaldo je 2012 objavio svoj samostalni album, sada je na redu Thurston Morore koji pravi odlicnu galama sa svojim novim bendom.
Sto duze slusam , to mi je bolji..polako se penje ka 9-tki , a mozda i 10-tki

još jedan kvalitetan album BRMC i jako neobičan. Kao da se sastoji od 3 različite stilske cjeline i to mu je ujedno i najveća i vrlina zbog raznolikosti i mana zbog neujednačenosti. Meni osobno se sviđa. Ocjena 8/10

Meni je isto Howl još uvijek njihov najbolji album. Ova pjesma je u biti obrada starog hita grupe The Call tj. više posveta ocu pjevača BRMC koji je preminuo prošle godine, a svirao je u tom bandu. 1/3 albuma u biti podsječa na taj mainstream rock ala Muse, U2,, drugi dio albuma je grunge punk rock, a treći dio onako dosta psihodeličan. Mislim da će ih kritika popljuvati, ali opet ja ovaj band volim i meni se sviđa.

Da, Howl je jedini album gdje su uspjeli pobjeći od primjese popa i pokušaja da privuku i curice na svoju glazbu... a Muse je
