Ultimativna zvijer.
Punk prije Punka , kraj hippie ere i prvi opasni Rock band.
Frontmann izvan kontrole i u konstantnoj konfrontaciji sa svijetom i publikom .
Samodestrukcija do bola i rock and roll klise superlativa..o daa.

Za mene najbolji moment..poslje 80 sekundi kratkog Crescenda ..Iggy inprovizira ..jebacki..poslusajte.

Apsolutno ludilo koje mnogi pripisuju experimentiranju drogama i ovaj album nazivaju Heroinskim.
Ja kazem..Glupost..ovo je vrhunac kreativne destruktivnosti..do dana danasnjeg nenadmasen..yeep.

Što bi rekli, kultni bend. Meni bolje od sveg panka što sam čuo, koji je očigledno nastao na temeljima Stoogesa i MC5-a. Prva tri albuma klasici, teško je izabrati omiljeni, šarmiraju na različit način. Možda ipak Fun House.

Ali meni je još draži početak Igijeve solo karijere. Uspeo je nekako da preživi do '77e, naravno da sledi odmak od korena i sa Bouvijem već svira post-pank na Idiotu, a kasnije te godine i poletni čistokrvni rokenrol na albumu Lust for Life. Slušao sam još samo pomalo New Values, znam još poneku pesmu tu i tamo, a nije mu loš ni ovaj poslednji kabaretski.
Odjednom mi se život proširio.

Kad sam već pisao o Studžisima i Igiju, rekoh sebi danas 'ajde malo da proširim slušalačko iskustvo. I...

Iggy Pop & James Williamson - Kill City (1977)



Snimljen 1975., navodno danima kad je Iggy dobijao "slobodno" iz mentalne bolnice u kojoj je boravio nakon raspada Stoogesa. U saradnji sa Jamesom Williamsonom, koji je svirao đitru na Raw Poweru i koji se ponovo aktivirao na ovogodišnjem albumu, stvaraju zvučnu sliku doticanja krajnjeg dna. Znatno mirniji, bliže Stonesima nego Stogeesima, ali podjednako snažno udara u stomak.
Odjednom mi se život proširio.

The Stooges: Raw Power

Moj omiljeni album , mada rijecima tesko objasnjivo.
Sjecam se da sam na isto razumijevanje naisao pocetkom 90-tih kod grunge pokreta i nekih drugih danas manje poznatih glazbenih pravaca.
Energija koja je proizvedena ovim albumom moze osvjtliti cijelu zemlju iducih 100 generacija.

Solo karijera je bila sarolika..no vrlo intenzivna i vrlo zabavna pogotovo na live nastupima pri kojima sam prisustvovao najmanje 10 puta , i svaki je bio drugaciji od predhodnog..
Americki cezar je prepun energije i duha vremena te humora na iggijev nacin.

Totalitarno osoban album sa puno filigranskih osjecaja...jedan od onih koji me je iznenadio, i jos jedan kojeg sam istinski zavolio.



Sam opener rula i govori sve..bas sve..



A onda sljedi vec sto mora sljediti..cista genijalstina ..

Prvi Iggyev solo album.
Uradak prepun lacivno mracnog sarma .
Tragika,melanholija i ples na rubu ponora..
Jedan od kamena temeljaca za mnoge glazbenike koji su dolalzili i one koji tek dolaze.






Naravno utjecaj Bijelog Vojvode je ogroman..no o tome jednom drugom prilikom..

Zombie Birdhouse

Ruku na srce ovaj je album promasaj, ali genijalni promasaj koji mi otkriva koliko je ambiciozno iggy zelio posloziti kamencice u ovom nedovrsenom apstraktnom mozaiku.
Vjerovatno bas iz razloga sto ispod povrsine ovdje izviruje toliko dragocjenih stvari..volim ovaj album.
