Every night dreams Boaz - so he tells his friend, the director Ari - of 26 dogs who want to pursue and kill him. A nightmare that has something to do with the first Lebanon War of 1982. But Ari can remember almost nothing, although he as a 19-year-old was there. He undertakes a journey into the past, interviewed former soldiers, war reporters, psychologists and friends. Everyone carries a photograph of the person that does not let go of him. Step by step, Ari the repressed memory until he is faced with the question of what role he played in the massacre in the Palestinian refugee camps of Sabra and Shatila.
