An extremely 1954 comic book illustrated by Ruiz, AKA Adolfo Marino Ruiz. Ruiz is well known in the fetish underground for the numerous serials he drew
for Irving Klaw of Bettie Page fame. Yes, another comic book artist who helped prove Kefauver was right! This comic was published in his native Mexico.
Needless to say, Mexican comic books from 60 years ago are scarce, and this is in very good condition considering age. NOTE: I have taken the liberty
(literally) to reproduce additional information on the artist from the LAMBIEK Comic Website below. Lambiek, as far as I know, is the only site which not
only has this biographical material, but the illustrate a similar cover by the artist. Condition as show. Printing ink blotch on 2 internal pages. Some cover
wear, worn paper but all pages and drawings intact. No tear on spine, but some wear. As Shown.
FOLLOWING FROM THE LAMBIEK COMICLOPEDIA.
"Adolfo Ruiz was also one of the most productive artists for Irving Klaw's Nutrix Company in the USA. Labelled as "the Mexican artist", he produced a great
many bondage and fetish comics, that Klaw sold by mail-order in the 1950s and 1960s. Unlike the other associated artists, like Eric Stanton Jim and Gene Bilbrew ,
Ruiz didn't stick to mere bondage and fetish-oriented stories, but interwove these elements into stories that contained conflict situations, period settings and costumes.
Ruiz made stories with revealing titles like 'Taming of the proud princess', 'Battling Yanda fights back', 'Bondage war in Slavia', 'Yolanda's Bizarre Experience' and
'Punishing the tyrant queen'."
