In the spirit of the latest Isabel Marant show……..I was thinking of the new film about Serge Gainsbourg’s life that is to premier at the French Film Festival…….Gainsbourg, vie heroique captures a life I have only dreamed of, from the many photos of his life with Jane Birkin….and from the preview it looks like both actors have managed to capture their spirit….the beautiful late, Lucy Gordon is a perfectly charming Jane Birkin and Serge played by Eric Elmosnino, is a vision of languid detachment……. a pretty hedonistic life was had in the Left Bank, the man who commanded the attention of so many incredible women of the time, made incredibly beautiful music and set the bar for nonchalant cool……amazing!
