Shmemis Castle🏰
One of dozens of ancient Syrian castles, it rests on an extinct volcano 30 km southeast of Hama. Built by Sampsiceramus I from the royal family of ancient Homs ~100BC, the castle had been rebuilt several times throughout history.
After an earthquake destroyed it, a Persian king rebuilt it in 613AD. The Ayyybids rebuilt it 600 years later, only to be destroyed the 2nd time by the Mongols in 1260 who ravaged the nation, followed by Tatars in 1400. Its rebuilt state after 1400, remains until today.

Nego... sve vise mirise na neki deal u Siriji. Turska se otvoreno sprema da krene u okupaciju sjevernoj pojasa uz granicu i ponovno krene u genocid na Kurde, i njihove proxy teroristicke kucke su dobile poziv da se pripreme da im pomognu, a teroristi u Idlibstanu vec (ponovno) unistavaju mostove u dolini al Ghab, sto bi znacilo da se mozda (konacno) sprema SAA ofanziva. Pontonske mostove SAA vec ima, a svakog dana se tapse bradonje iz zraka na sirem podrucju. Mada mi nekako nije izgledalo realno da ce SAA krenuti na pravu ofanzivu (svejedno da li iz politickih razloga ili nekih drugih), trenutno se tamo neso priprema. SAA je isto tako ovih dana dovezla pojacanja.
Za sada iz prve smrdi na trgovinu Idlibstan za "Kurdski pojas" na sjeveru, ali sta ce kauboji reci na to, to jest, cime su oni kupljeni ako je to istina? Ili ce samo (ponovno) izigrati Kurde i otici. Nastavak slijedi...

15 civilians reportedly died in a US-led Coalition rain in the village of Al Takihi in eastern Deir Ezzor. The raid targeted a house of an ISIS commander Hassan Ibrahim who refused to surrender and opened fire upon the Coalition troops and the SDF fighters.
Ibrahim's house was then targeted in an air strike, resulting in death of civilians (mostly members of his family) who were present in the building.
It should be noted that a prominent ISIS official Abu Muhammad Al Iraqi was killed in an air strike on the same village this April.
Correction: the commander's house was not targeted by an air strike but rather was stormed by the attacking forces.

Iranska revolucionarna garda izjavila je kako je “zaplijenili” britanski naftni tanker u Hormuzovom tjesnacu, javlja iranski TV kanal Press TV.
Britanski tanker Stena Impero zaplijenjen je od strane Revolucionarne garde u Hormuškom tjesnacu zbog “kršenja međunarodnog pomorskog prava”, izvijestila je iranska TV stanica Press TV. Stručnjak za obranu podijelio je sliku na Twitteru koja pokazaju zapljenu tankera.
Britanske vlasti traže više informacija o incidentu koji bi uključivao jedan od britanskih tankera u Perzijskom zaljevu, izvijestio je Reuters pozivajući se na glasnogovornika Ministarstva obrane.
Prema Sjevernoj morskoj upravi, koja upravlja tankerima, nepoznata plovila i helikopter prišli su tankeru dok je prelazio tjesnac Hormuz. Ukupno 23 mornara na brodu Stena Impero kreću prema iranskoj obali, navodi tvrtka.
Prema Reutersu, britanski komitet za hitne slučajeve održao je sastanak o incidentu u Perzijskom zaljevu. Bijela kuća smatra da je zaplijena britanskog tankera eskalaciji nasilja.
Stena Impero je zaplijenjen samo nekoliko sati nakon odluke Vrhovnog suda Gibraltara da produži na 30 dana blokadu iranskog naftnog tankera kojeg su zaplijenili britanski patrolni brodovi ispred Gibraltara 4. srpnja, po nalogu iz SAD-a.
Prema još neprovjerenim informacijama, izgleda da nije samo jedan tanker, nego dva. Drugi tanker se zove “MESDAR”, koje je prije sat vremena skrenuo prema Iranu. Razlog skretanja još nije poznat.

Nego, koliko Rusi ovih dana trkeljaju bradonje na podrucju Hame, tesko da bi to sve stalo bez prave ofanzive. Pitanje je samo u kom pravcu, za sada kaze na Jisr al-Shughur, a moguce i da se samo zona na podrucju Hame skrci. Pogotovo ako ce Turci da zazmure i bave se Kurdima kao sto sada izgleda. Navodno su Turci stavili svu vojsku uz granicu i one na unutarnjim sirskim granicama sa Kurdima, u borbenu pripremljenost.
