I have to admit to being thrilled that Makondo is now publishing Usagi, and hoping that Darkwood will be able to process and fulfill my order for the first three books in the series. If they do, I will definitely be ordering each new pair of books when they are released. These will be a welcome addition to my collection along with the new releases from Рамона and Crtani Romani Šou....
Not too sure what to write about, even on most of the English language forums. I have been buying and reading Usagi Yojimbo for around 30 years now. Before Usagi, the only comic I still read was Sergio Aragones' Groo the Wanderer (definitely worth reading if you haven't already) which is where I first learned of Usagi since Stan Sakai did the lettering for Groo. Over the years I have started collecting Usagi in other languages. Unfortunately, I do not have the Croatian issues of Garfield which included some Usagi Yojimbo short stories. If you are interested in seeing some of the Usagi Yojimbo books which I have accumulated, here is a link to my Facebook page...
So far, no luck on placing an order through Darkwood for the USAGI JOĐIMBO #1 - 3. Filled out the order page, received a message saying to contact Darkwood for "orders outside Serbia" at info@darkwood.co.rs to arrange payment and shipping, but still have not received any reply to the email. Maybe I should try the Alan Ford website.....
