Neozbiljni smo, Tonto jedini odgovoran i savjestan.
Iden i ja kupiti, ali pravog konja, kakve igračke, paš vidit, Franc.

Inače, bili u Beču jednom davno, prije 10tak godina, oko Božića. Šetamo tako iz jednog muzeja u drugi, divimo se zgradama, došli do katedrale, kad ono kočija i dva konja. Prošla kočija s konjima, mi se divimo, ja duboko udahnuo, a ono isprid mene friški kup g*vana, jedno 40-50 kila, dimi se onako još toplo i vruće na friškom bečkom zraku... I to ti je Beč, mislin se ja. Doslovno ima... Svega.

Crtež naravno, ali crtež sam po sebi ne bi bio dovoljan.
Meni su ti stripovi dobri, odnosno, ima dosta dobrih stripova. Npr. trilogija Barba Niko i Ivo je odlična. Grob u prašumi. I tako dalje.

(budem uskoro popisao koji mi Maurovićevi stripovi dolaze u obzir. imam još dosta za pročitati; neke, na žalost, moram skenove, a to mi ide sporo.)

Bolje je pitanje: zašto ti ne čitaš vesterne i pustolovne stripove?

Evo malo kontre. Volim fantasy. Mač, kubura, kolt45, laser...drži me sve to da ostanem dite. Sve su to bajke, još kad imaju heroja čista obraza(tu će se moguće i Stinky samnom složit), to me gura da izguram svoje bedare o kojima crtam i pišem. Tako da dokle god ne nosi plašt i nije dio Marvelovog svita, meni paše. Ne dam Texa za sto Supermena, ni Aragorna za iljadu Martinovih likova iz Leda i vatre.

Ni ja se nisam nikada primio na superheroje. Ne bih nikada pogledao Batmana, Supermana itd. Zagora, međutim, da, i dan danas. Iako i Zagor ima neku vrstu kostima, ipak nema dvostruki identitet, ne skriva se i ne živi regularni građanski život.

Možda je ovo presudno. Ti američki superheroji žive u velegradovima i bave se građanskim životom. Ali Zagor živi u Darkwoodu, i u osnovi je vestern. Mene privlače ti krajolici, rubovi, granica... Urbane teme baš i ne. Corto i Mister No su dobar spoj, ljudi koji iz urbanog odlaze na granicu i u pustolovine...

Što se tiče vesterna, frano, teško da je to fantasy. Ovako počinje esej Jima Kitsesa o vesternu (Kitses je autoritet po pitanju vestern filmova, na njega se poziva i naš Ante Peterlić, koji je isto tako autoritet):

First of all, the Western is American history. Needless to say, this does not mean that the films are historically accurate or that they cannot be made by Italians. More simply, the statement means that American frontier life provides the milieu and mores of the Western, its wild bunch of cowboys, its straggling towns and mountain scenery...
