Apokalipsa najubedljivija pobeda do sada! Samo kod 6 clanova se nije nasla na listi a od 6 clanova dobila maksimalu. 21 ukupno glasao.

To je meni možda i najinteresantnije pitanje u vezi filmskih žanrova.

Da li film koji je bio savremen u trenutku snimanja vremenom postaje istorijski, ako radnja to dozvoljava? Ili se žanr odnosi samo na one filmove koji se bave tada prošlim vremenima i događajima?

Na odgovara na moje pitanje. Mada, ne postoji apsolutni odgovor na to pitanje, zato ga i smatram interesantnim. (Ili, ako postoji, još ne znam za njega.)

Shaner i ja smo skoro na jednoj književnoj temi pominjali Middlemarch. To je remek-delo realizma engleske književnosti, i u svoje vreme se odnosio na aktuelna i savremena dešavanja, iako u provinciji (što bi rekli, na selu). Ali danas svako ko snimi, iliti "dramatizuje" Middlemarch za ekrane, velike ili (danas ne tako) male, pravi kostimiranu, tj. istorijsku dramu. Da li će za 100 godina, pod uslovom da opstanemo toliko, današnji "realistični" filmovi biti istorijske drame?

U međuvremenu, evo jedna anegdota, u vezi filma, koji nisu mnogi pogledali: (sad će Zula da se javi - ja sam gledao, pa šta?)

Lindsay Anderson tells the following anecdote in his biography of John Ford: when he interviewed Ford in 1950, the latter admitted he did not like They Were Expendable (1945)... and actually never saw the finished movie! He disliked everything - project, shooting, editing without his supervision, music added without his consent, etc. Anderson was surprised because he thought it was a good movie, so Ford told him he might watch it after all... A few weeks later, Anderson received the following telegram that he kept as a memento: "Saw 'They Were Expendable'. You were right. Ford

Apsolutni odgovor ne postoji, u tome je i draž.
Već smo zaključili da su svi ratni i istorijski, ali nisu svi istorijski ratni. Ja kao laik (ima ovde dosta megaznalaca, javiće se već oni) vidim istorijski film kao film koji obrađuje neku istorijsku ličnost, dešavanje ili period. Može biti istorijski tačan, ili se oslanjati na istorijske činjenice. Takođe može da obrađuje fikcionalne likove koji su stavljeni u istorijski tačan kontekst. Vreme koje obrađuje nije relevantno. Film o kraljici Elizabeti I i o Elizabeti II su oba istorijski, iako su udaljeni stotinama godina. Isto tako i Ben Hur i Downfall.

Moje mišljenje, ali kao što rekoh, javiće se poznavaoci.

Primere za šta? Kako mogu da znam budućnost? Pričam hipotetički. Svaki film koji bi snimili o Trampu ili oko Trampa bi sutra bio istorijski. (Čak nije ni bitno da li postoji distanca od naklonosti.)
