Without ROCKY, Sylvester Stallone's career would likely never have turned out the way it did. Sly put everything on the line and convinced the studio bosses that he would play the lead role. Not only was the boxing drama a box office hit and Stallone an overnight star,
but the character of Rocky Balboa made film history and is one of the greatest icons of Hollywood history. Almost 50 years later, the ROCKY franchise has lost none of its popularity, and its universe has even been expanded by the CREED films.

CAPTAIN FUTURE

(THE TV CULT FROM THE 80s)

One of the most influential animated series in Germany in the 1980s was CAPTAIN FUTURE , based on the pulps of the 1940s.
The pulps were published quarterly from 1940 to 1944. In total, the series produced 17 novels, all but three of which were written by Edmond Hamilton .
The stories were ahead of their time, the fantastic soundtrack (in the German version) by Christian Bruhn remains beyond reproach, and characters like
the rubber doll Otho, the robot Grag, the flying brain Prof. Simon, and, of course, Future himself captivated audiences, and not just young ones.
