- u 80-im je stekao status kultnog redatelja i postao je "in" i trendi -pa je mogao i može snimit što god hoće, bez obzira koliko film ima smisla. Imao je i očitih promašaja - Duna nikad nije smjela dopast u njegove ruke, nije uspio postići karizmatičnost i filozofsku duhovnost koju ima knjiga. Ali ne vidim ko bi drugi mogao biti autor genijalnog serijala twin peaks.
