Jebeno, uzima se. Imam Dark Horseove tankobone do broja 13, al Darkwoodova je cijena puno niža tako da ću se držati njih. Baš je osjetna razlika.

Kakvog je formata?
I jel prijevod direktno iz originala, ili je s engleskog?
(ne znam odakle mi ta ideja; mislim da sam negdje čitao
da poneki izdavači prakticiraju taj pristup,
prijevod prijevoda, što onda rezultira svakakvim konstrukcijama..
već i DH-ov engleski na mjestima djeluje nezgrapno)

Uglavnom, zanima me kako je ispalo, pa bih mogao uzeti bar prvi broj.

Darkwood je oduvek sve mange prevodio sa japanskog (kao uostalom i sve druge stripove sa originalnih jezika). Tako smo radili i sa Tanigučijem u Stripoteci. Znam iz prve ruke, jer uredio sam preko 50 prvih DW mangi.
Istu praksu sada nastavljam i u Stalkeru.

Format isti kao i ostale mange, s tim da je papir kvalitetniji, pa isti broj stranica u ovom slučaju izgleda "deblje".

Hm, neprijatno bi se iznenadio jer se nemalo naslova (ne u strip-izdavaštvu, već generalno), linijom manjeg otpora, prevodi sa trećeg jezika. A za prevođenje mangi se već deset godina svako malo neko začudi kad čuje da se prevodi sa japanskog, valjda im to deluje previše egzotično i teško izvodljivo.

U svakom slučaju, velika podrška (to se podrazumeva za svaki naslov) za kolege iz DW za Berserk, i već danas ću sa zadovoljstvom pročitati prvi tankobon.

Recimo, Geopoetika Harukija Murakamija oduvek prevodi s japanskog. Booka i, evo, videh nedavno i Vulkan objavio jedan, pa... Za mene savršen japanski roman, ali sa engleskog preveden. Nešto tu uvek bude lost in translation, zato podrška za prevod izvornika!
