Prošlo je 25 godina od izlaska Darkthrone albuma Under a Funeral Moon, koji spada u top 3 izdanja benda skupa sa A Blaze in the Northern Sky i Transilvanian Hunger.
Ako ću baš cjepidlačiti onda moram priznati da su ostala 2 ipak razina više, ali ovaj je također pravi klasik kakve danas Darkthrone može samo sanjati.

Danas je ravno 30 godina od izlaska Slayer albuma South of Heaven.
Sasvim je sigurno da su 80-e godine bile zlatno razdoblje benda pa se tu ne može pronaći slab uradak, ali je meni prethodni album Reign in Blood ipak osjetno bolji.
Međutim, bilo bi nepošteno očekivati 2 zaredom onako furioznog tempa pa zato South of Heaven svakako spada u velika ostvarenja (osim one obrade Judas Priesta koja se jednostavno ovdje ne uklapa).

Novi Immortal (bez Abbatha) su sasvim ok, veoma slusljivi, u biti odlican "comeback", iako s druge strane album sam nije nesto novo ili potresno. No, in your face Immortal zvuk sa Immortal tekstovima.

Novi Marduk su onak, ok, ali mozda bih trebao pustiti jos par krugova prije donesem neku ocjenu. Ajde, tekstovi su im... ma znamo njegova viđenja i sta ga pali, ali dok god ne pretjeruje (otvoreno), moze proci.


A evo i novih Funeral Mist.

Konačno novi album Funeral Mista, Salvation i Maranatha su mi bili vrlo dobri, ali nisam ih slušao već barem 5-6 godina.

Becki decki Pungent Stench su vec krajem 2006 / pocetkom 2007 snimili ovaj album, ali je izasao tek 11 godina kasnije, tacnije 13. 4. 2018. Nazalost, album stvarno nije nesto, ni same pjesme ni produkcija. Steta, a mozda je sada i razumljivije zasto ga nisu htjeli izdati prije.





A 15. 4. 2018 su izdali i "boxed set" kazeta naslovljen "Sick Bizarre Defaced Collection" sa prva 3 albuma, EP-jem "Dirty Rhymes and Psychotronic Beats" i prvim snimkama (demo, split, 7", live).






No, prisjetimo se radije njihovog debuta, prejeben album, kao i drugi.

Prošlo je 20 godina od izlaska Carpathian Forest albuma Black Shining Leather.
U pitanju je prvi album tog norveškog benda kojeg sam danas slušao nakon dugo vremena, moram priznati da se ostalih baš nešto ne sjećam pa ne mogu napraviti usporedbu s njima.
Jedna od boljih stvari na albumu.
