Hajde da se malo pomaknemo vremenski unapred, ali ne puno
Četvrti album Foreignera, nazvan originalno - 4, ponudio je tada već dobro poznati zvuk uz nove hitove. Meni je najbolja Waiting for a girl like you, ali tu su i Urgent, Girl on the moon i ostale izvrsne stvari.Uživajte!

Stephen Malkmus and the Jicks: Wig Out at Jagbags

Pavement su vec 15 godina udaljeni od dana danasnjeg i bacaju dugu sjene..njihov pjevac je upravo izdao novi album sa dobranom dozom ironije..neka samo..toga je ipak falilo.

Album Collection Alvina Leeja i njegove grupe Ten years after pokazuje zapravo ono što već znam - riječ je o solidnom rock bandu ali ipak se sve vrti oko glavnog hita Love like a man. Ima tu još dobrih stvari ali nijedna nije ni blizu ovoj njihovoj najpoznatijoj stvari. Ali svakako, Ten years after su band vrijedan pažnje.

Malo je grupa koje toliko eksperimentiraju sa svojim zvukom kao što to čini švicarska grupa Yello, odnosno Boris Blank (dok je milijarder Dieter Meier zadužen za vokal), pa tu nalazimo razne oblike od klasičnog popa osamdesetih preko fenomenalnih Oh yeah i The race, pa do kolaboracije sa Shirley Bassey koja je rezultirala ovih ultramegahitom. Uživajte!

Ako ste se ikada pitali od kuda je špica Aktualnog 101 odgovor je - to je pjesma Oh yeah od grupe Yello, sa gore navedenog albuma. Izvrstan album ovog švicarskog dvojca sadrži još dva hita - Desire i Vicious games, te se ovdje još jednom pokazuje da njihovo eksperimentiranje daje izvrsne rezultate.Svakako poslušati

The very best of Al Jarreau - Preslušavajući ovaj Greatest hits album jedna stvar se konstantno nameće sama od sebe:Ok, ima dobar glas i izvrstan je za slušanje u noćnim satima ali ipak uvijek će ostati zapamćen po temi iz Slučajnih partnera.Što se mene tiče, i to je dovoljno da mi bude dobar:))

a-ha Hunting high and low - ovo mi je i dan danas jedan od najboljih albuma ikada. Izvrsni synth-pop sa odličnim tekstovima i dobrim ritmom. Skoro svaka pjesma je hit i album je bio nebrojeno puta slušan u cjelini. A o originalnosti spota glavnog hita je davno već sve rečeno. Uživajte

Vjerovao ili ne, baš sam prije dva dana htio otvoriti topic gdje bi stavljali obrade koje su bolje od originala i prva na listi bi mi bila Crying in the rain. Jebenica stvar

Alphaville - Forever young Jedan od najačih albuma osamdesetih, a i uopće, stvarno nikada ne stari. Koliko je toga izvrsnog rečeno u ovim synth-pop pjesmama, pa to je nevjerojatno. Kaj je najbolje, naslovna stvar mi je tek treća po kvaliteti na albumu (poslije Big in Japan i Sounds like a melody) a tu su i ostale izvrsne stvari - A victory of love, Summer in Berlin...ma izvrsno

Maestro ima novi album.

Ovaj glazbeni genije utjecao je kako na glazbu tako i na mene u nevjerojatnim količinama. Prvenstveno ga volim zbog njegovih instrumentala ali ipak ga (izuzmemo li Tubular bells) publika ponajviše poznaje po tekstualnim pjesmama.
Ja ga obožavam. Istinski je genije.
Ne treba očekivati ništa posebno spektakularno. Ipak je ovo 25. studijski album.

Ali jedan je Mike.



Uz novi album predlažem upoznavanje sa najboljim Maestrovim hitovima:
