FIRST REACTIONS
Despite the sad coincidence that marked the arrival in newsstands Little Ranger in connection with the death of Francesco Gamba, the responses so far are positive. On the net directly on this blog or by telephone calls to the office, these days the readers fill us with their compliments and encouragement motivate us to do more and more. I honestly did not expect much enthusiasm and we are very pleased that our teamwork (and our readers) have hit the mark.

Again, I regret not being able to share these moments with Francis, but I can not fail in my role as a publisher, here I am to answer your many comments. First of all, thank you for the compliments, it is in these situations that our profession makes up for a lot of sacrifices. At the same time I would like to say a few words about the distribution, of which several of you have (rightly) complained.
As you well know in Italy kiosks are 34,000 and then it is clear that by printing 15,000 copies (more would be suicidal these days for a publication "vintage"), provided that each of them receives a newsstand, it would remain uncovered 19,000. But the reality is even more complex, as the distributors deliver an average of two copies per kiosk, thus leaving discoveries about 26,500! Therefore it is very likely that your newsagent has not received the first issue of The Little Ranger . What to do? At this point you have two options.

You can order directly from us, no. 1 and at the same time tell your newsagent confidence to apply for the supply distributor: it is a bi-monthly, the time is there, and n. 2'll find it for sure.
However, if you go looking for your copy and find another kiosk, there always purchased subsequent copies, because you are sure to find them. Otherwise, if you buy the no. 1 in a kiosk and subsequent to another, the first kiosk will receive copies of future issues that may never sell, and if so, for a few months, the distributor would deliver publications that remain unsold. But it gets worse: if you ask for from your newsagent Il Piccolo Ranger or another then you will not buy from him, the newsagent will lose credibility with the distributor that will block the service.
Another important point: Press-in, our national distributor for the contract can not intervene directly on the kiosks, which are the responsibility of the local distributor. It is therefore the newsagent must request that the supply to the local distributor. Obviously we and we act because of Press-all requests are to be successful, but you always give us the details of your kiosk - where you buy really our publications - and tell the newsagent to ask for the service to the local distributor. About the conditions under which publications they arrive on newsstands, it is a bad culture that we hope will be sooner or later ... "cured"! Some of you have complained that sometimes even the stickers are affixed to the books from the newsagents. Unfortunately in many cases are necessary because the editor calls the head in a way and the necklace in another. To understand, the publisher records in court "Necklace Beautiful Adventures" and this title makes an agreement with the distributor and the publication with this name comes all'edicolante. But in fact the head is "Red Bear". The newsagent do not understand anything, and a first survey unsold may be a publication that has sold instead. Recchioni je napokon potvrdio da je prvi broj Orfana (ipak) prodan u 50.000 komada, a granica isplativosti je trenutačno na 30.000 zbog visokog tiraža, kad padne tiraž pada i "granica" za nekoliko tisuća primjeraka.
Dodaje da također očekuju prihod od luksuznog izdanja (knjižare i striparnice).

Kao što je već spomenuto u drugom topicu ukidaju se sva gigant izdanja osim Teksovog. Iako ta izdanja još uvijek mogu pokrivati troškove (vjerovatno nešto i zaraditi), imaju tendenciju pada tako da su se u Bonelliju odlučili na ovaj potez uz istovremeno povećanje broja profitabilnijih izdanja (kolor-festvi, maksiji itd.)
Također se govori o osnivanju zasebne gigant edicije u kojoj bi se radili "team-upovi" raznih junaka, prvi će biti Dragonero/Zagor.
- Zagor kolorac će vjerovatno ići dvaput godišnje.
- Ovogodišnji Zagor gigant je prodan u 25.000 primjeraka
Sve ove informacije su potekle od Burattinija i Roberta Altarive tako da bi trebale biti točne, ali ne bih se čudio da bude i nekih izmjena, vidjet ćemo. |
