A sneak peek at the new Splitter program for the summer of 2014, which will be announced in February, have two titles to be announced for June 2014 in advance. They fit the theme "World War", the beginning of which the 100th Time marks.
100 years First World War
2014 is the year in which the beginning of the First World War marks the hundredth time. The war, in almost 40 countries were involved, some 70 million citizens were up in arms and the more than 17 million human lives, will also be subject to the Comic Salon in Erlangen.
Splitter brings in June 2014 two graphic novels out, treat the four-year "Great War", a French series as a complete edition and a German house production.

In German there is a Adpaption of the anti-war classic on the Western Front. Artist Peter Eick Meyer it was a "matter of the heart" to implement the novel by Erich Maria Remarque. He has worked three years.

Appear the first time in Germany, the four-volume World War epic Notre Mère La Guerre by Kris and Mael, to be published in splinters as total output in a book in the same month. Until 11:04:14 The series is also broken in an exhibition titled "Tout le monde - honored World War I in the comic" in the University of Munich. After that, they will be on display in Hanover.

German publications: Published in 1971 the picture magazine publisher (BSV) a Tex Willer series, however, was canceled after only eight volumes. This series was also published in other European countries, where they had much longer durations.
From 1985 - 1986 the nostalgia comic publisher was in Ludwigshafen out 27 Piccolo books. Format Technically oriented themselves thereby to the so-called albi a striscia that of 1948 - were published in 1967 in Italy.
In 2000, then the comic book club Hanover launched a Tex Willer series in small quantities. A total of 20 books published here.
Finally, in 2002 published tete cult editions with The Lost Pueblo a band from the special series Speciale Tex (Original title: Il pueblo perduto, 1994). Another band from the special series, The merciless Four (Original title: Il cavaliere solitario, 2001) was, from 2002 - 2004 as a four-part series published.

The opponent of the hero falls to the ground without the reader learns why. Revolver, or sword are simply airbrushed out. Censorship in the comic is almost always unintentionally funny. least since "Barbarella" from Forest - in Germany so since 1966 - should have gotten around that in addition to children's Comics also those for an adult audience is. Nevertheless, a supposed youth protection is argued to discredit unwelcome comics as the "Morbus Gravis" series of Sergieri, "The Survivors" by Paul Gillon or the comics by Ralf König and to prohibit under way today. |

Content: "I'm just a normal couch". Better you can not begin a book about Sigmund Freud. Christian Moser, who already dealt in two plants with the "monsters of everyday life", seems to be the right man for an illustrated Sigmund Freud biography. Therefore, also lurks on the cover behind Sigmund Freud and his chroniclers (the couch) a greenish monster.
The new book of comic artist Christian Moser is once again not a comic but a richly illustrated and meticulously researched account of Freud's life and his theories about the human soul or the subconscious. The idea of the piece of furniture ("The Couch unpacks"). As a biographer might be a bit annoying in the long run, will thankfully not overused.
The interspersed Freud quotes ("Yes, America is huge, huge error") show that the father of psychoanalysis has a not inconsiderable humor and probably would have had his fun on this book.
