Arab NGO to sue Saudi Arabia over Yemen war

The Egypt-based Middle East Organization for Development and Human Rights (MEODHR), in cooperation with other international legal entities, is launching a campaign to prosecute Saudi Arabia over the war in Yemen.
“We are working closely with several local and international organizations to gather enough evidences that document the criminal Saudi war on Yemen”, the organization’s president, Abdullah Allao, said in a press conference.
“The Saudi invasion has so far killed more than 13,000, and wounded at least 25,000 others in Yemen”, he added.
The campaign aims at enhancing the UN’s mechanisms and the roles of human rights organizations worldwide to bring to justice those who violated human rights and massacred Yemenis.

Zapovjednik 16. divizije takozvane "Slobodne sirijske vojske" i njegov pomoćnik su dali ostavku iz "zdravstvenih razloga". Naime, riječ je o glavnoj militantnoj skupini koja se protiv vladinih snaga bori u četvrti Bani Za'id i ranije u Khaldiyi, odakle je protjerana.
Visoki zapovjednici takozvane "Slobodne sirijske vojske" su najvjerojatnije napustili svoje položaje nakon što su pretrpjeli teške poraze u Layramounu i Khaldiyi, a nedostaje im opreme i boraca. No, naprosto nije bilo moguće zaustaviti napredak elitne 4. mehanizirane divizije sirijske vojske i zapovjednik je, zajedno sa svojim pomoćnicima, najvjerojatnije pobjegao u Tursku.
"Stalni predstavnik Francuske pri Ujedinjenim narodima, François Delattre, usporedio je ono što se događa u Aleppu sa situacijom u Sarajevu za vrijeme rata u Bosni.
"Vijeće sigurnosti Ujedinjenih naroda ne može dopustiti da se tamo dogode ratni zločini, a ono što se događa u Aleppu je ratni zločin", rekao je François Delattre.
Delattre pozvao na hitnu uspostavu humanitarnog primirja u Aleppu i Istočnoj Gouti, te naglasio nedopustivost odgađanje donošenja odluke o "humanitarnom prekidu neprijateljstava".
Sramotnu usporedbu Aleppa stalnog predstavnika Francuske, koji koljače skupina Harakat Nour al-Din al-Zenki, Ahrar Al-Sham i Jaish Al-Islam i drugih 50 islamističkih skupina, koje okupljene u koaliciju Fatah Halab drže istočni dio Aleppa, uspoređuje sa Sarajevom je nepotrebno komentirati.
Iz njegove se izjave jasno vidi da Francuska ovu monstruoznu koaliciju još uvijek smatra borcima "umjerene oporbe", a kad je već tako, bilo bi najbolje da Delattre u Ujedinjenim narodima dogovori njihovu evakuaciju i prebaci ih na teritorij Francuske, svima uruči politički azil, kasnije državljanstvo i tako se pobrine za njihovu sudbinu."

The prominent Turkish opposition leader is believed to have fled to one of the following countries: Australia, Mexico, Canada, South Africa or Egypt.
Gulen has been accused by the Turkish regime of orchestrating the July 15th military coup to overthrow the government of Recep Tayyip Erdogan.
Prior to the July 15th coup, the Gulen Movement was labeled a terrorist organization by the Turkish regime, resulting in its ban all around the country.

na putu u trgovinu sam danas pogledao i onaj spomenik koji se danas otvara za vrijeme posjete Putina na centralnom groblju u Ljubljani, za sve pale Ruske i Sovjetske vojnike na podrucju Slovenije za vrijeme WW1 i WW2 ... ujutro jos nije bilo toliko policij unaokolo. Syrian Army, jihadists trade blows in Homs province: Field Report
Heavy clashes erupted between the Syrian Army and the Islamic State militants in the grain silos area east of the ancient city of Palmyra as the government forces attempt to advance towards the oily Arak town under the cover of the Russian Air Force.
News were reported of the presence of a 1,000 strong force from the Iraqi paramilitary force Imam Ali Brigade replaced the Cheetah Forces (a subunit of the Tiger Forces) and the Military Security Shield. Their job will be confined to defending the historic city while the Syrian Army attempts to advance on Arak.
Meanwhile, ISIS repelled a Syrian Army attack on the village of Huwaysis in the Sha’er region north of Palmyra.
In Homs’s northern countryside, the Syrian Army foiled a Jabhat Al-Nusra infiltration attempt against some advanced SAA security checkpoints in the vicinity of Jaboureen town. The active SAA forces in the region are mainly the 11th Mechanized Division’s 60th and 47th brigades. Whilst all this was ongoing, the RuAF and the Syrian Air Force launched joint air strikes against the militants’ positions in the islamist strongholds of Talbiseh and Rastan.
Little change is expected in the countrysides of Syria’s biggest province as the Syrian Army seems mostly focused on Aleppo and Latakia where massive, fateful battles are ongoing that would change the landscape of the Syrian conflict for the rest of the civil war.
