25.12. rodilo se djetešce koje je u svojim tridesetim promijenilo svijet. Godina je 1642.

Otkrio je zakon gravitacije koji upravlja nebeskim tijelima te tako postavio temelj modernoj astronomiji. Izumio je i prvi teleskop-reflektor 1668. godine. Jedan je od najvećih prirodnih znanstvenika u povijesti čovječanstva.

Isaac Newton se zapravo rodio na Božić, 25. prosinca 1642. (4. siječnja 1643. jest po gregorijanskom kalendaru) u zaselku Woolsthorpe u okrugu Lincolnshire u Engleskoj (gdje se tada još koristio Julijanski kalendar). Rođen je kao nedonošče, ali je ipak uspio preživjeti. Njegova se majka uskoro preudala, pa je o malom Isaacu skrbila baka. Još dok je pohađao osnovnu školu, Isaacov je ujak William Esconty uočio kako njegov nećak nije običan dječak već da posjeduje nesumnjive crte izuzetne nadarenosti. Newton je veoma rano pokazao i vještinu u izradi raznovrsnih naprava kojima je zarađivao i svoje prve honorare. Umjesto da s vršnjacima uživa u dječjim nepodopštinama, mali je Isaac konstruirao mehaničke lutke, fenjere kojima je plašio praznovjerne seljake, drveni sat koji se sam navijao, mlin kojega je pokretao miš te još mnogo toga...(internet-Wikipedija)

Iz Orbitalne stanice mi smo jedna okićena svemirska jelkica osvjetljena mnoštvom lampica koja svojom ljepotom oduzima dah.

Ja danas skoro ostao bez rožnice; kako sam na poslu potpuno sam zaboravio na pomrčinu i baš sam morao u to vrijeme izaći na teren, k'o za vraga ugledah divlju patku u letu, dugo je pratih pogledom u smjeru Sunca sve dok ne osjetih vatru u očima...
A to sve zbog toga što nisam htio iskoristiti priliku života pa nabaviti adekvatne naočale dok su se nudile na akcijskoj cijeni za samo 100 €.
