Violante Rock iliti Vesna Rokić, kako je bila prevedena kod nas
je jedan od najboljih tinejdžerskih stripova svih vremena.
Glavna junakinja je nestašna plavokosa pegava devojčica, koja
strasveno obožava rok muziku i zbog toga zapada u različite teškoće
i komične situacije.
Crtež Grazie Nidasio (Milano, 1931) odlikuje gracioznost Guida
Crepaxa, opuštenost Iva Milazza i psihadelični kolor Guya Pellaerta.
Izlazila je u dečjem časopisu Corriere dei piccoli od 1961 do 1967
godine i prethodnik je takozvanih feminističkih stripova koji su niknuli
iz liberalnih šestdesetih godina, dece cveća i slobodne ljubavi
poput Tiffany Jones (1964, Pat Tourret), Valentina (1965, Guido Crepax),
Pravda (1967, Guy Pellaert), Iris (1968, The Tjong Khing),
Paulette (1970, Georges Pichard) i ostalih.
Grazia Nidasio je kasnije stvorila još dva bestselera, Valentina
Melaverde (1969 - 1976), kod nas prevedena kao Danče Vrapče, koja
je bila namenjena nešto starijim curama i Stefi (1976 - 1992),
kod nas poznata pod imenom Višnja, za dečju publiku.
1972 godine Grazia Nidasio je dobila nagradu Yellow Kid na festivalu
u Lucci.



Kod nas je Vesna izlazila u Politikinom Zabavniku u prvoj polovini
sedamdesetih godina, kad je to bio jedan od najboljih omladinskih
magazina, ne samo kod nas nego i u svetu.
Izašle su četiri epizode:
1. Skandal na televiziji, od broja 1075 do 1085, 11 strana u boji, 1972
2. Vesna na moru, broj 1122, 17 strana, duoton, 1973
3. Vesna i Marsovka, broj 1166, 19 strana, duoton, 1974
4. Vesna i gangsteri, broj 1179, 12 strana, duoton, 1974

Ceo opus Valentine Melaverde je izašao u četiri knjige.
Prva knjiga sadrži epizode od 1969 do 1971 godine,
druga od 1972 do 1973 godine, treća iz 1974 godine,
a četvrta od 1975 do 1976 godine.
