Još i lijepa, izvorna Bignottijeva ilustracija! Veliki majstor je ostavio najvećeg traga upravo na Timu i Dastiju. Stoga smatram nepravednim, počesto pljuvanje po njegovim epizodama Zagora. Točno, nisu na najvišoj crtačkoj razini, kakao bismo očekivali, ali zbog Tima i Dastija, Bignotti ne zaslužuje takve, često neutemeljene pokude.

Radi se o scenatističkom debiju Guida Nolitte (Sergija Bonellija). Inače, sem Nolitte, scenario je pisao i G.L. Bonelli (i jednu epizodu Decio Canzio), dok je najveći crtački doprinos dao Franco Bignoti, kasnije uz pomoć Giovanni Ticcia.

Kod nas je strip izlazio u Zlatnoj seriji i Lunovom magnus stripu tokom 1970-ih godina, uz jednu epizodu objavljenu u Strip almanahu 1991. godine).

Bignotti - jedan od omiljenih crtača iz stripova '80-ih.
Tim i Dasti - nosio sam se mišlju da sakupim ove stripove, ali niko od stripadžija u mom okruženju tada nije znao za njih, što mi je otežavalo ostvarivanje zamisli, ali još više davalo draž čitajući (tada mi) fenomenalne epizode.
