Umjetnik cija je umjetnost izlazila iz okvira same glazbe.
Definitivno jedan od najvecih performatora svoga vremena i defintivno orginal koji se ne moze kopirati.

Bio mi je užasno bitan u drugoj polovini 80-ih i u prvoj polovini 90-ih, od Purple Rain do Diamonds and Pearls.

Pa Batman, My name is Prince, Get Off, Cream, Sexy MF i hrpa drugih stvari, u kojoj je izuzetno zaraznu popističnost i melodioznost sjajno spajao s artizmom, inovativnošću i nevjerojatnom energijom.

I dakako s brižno i detaljno promišljenom stilskom i vizualnom prezentacijom, što je njegove stvari pretvaralo u prave gozbe za sva osjetila.

Otišao je mlad, neka mu je laka zemlja...

valjda je vanserijski u nekim muzičkim segmentima i općenito veliki šoumen, ali meni osobno nikada napet i naročito interesantan. dapače, previše queer čak i za moj relativno pederoliberalni ukus u muzici. osoba čudnih, bizarnih životnih nazora, ali zbog NOTHING COMPARES TO YOU kapa dolje.
