Prvenstveno Carpenter i Morricone. Oni su top topova, da uopce ne nabrajam druge autore i bendove, koliko su ova dvojica ostavila traga u filmskoj glazbi. Prvi na celu sa Helloweenom i Napadom na policijsku stanicu, ciju su temu bezobzirno i bezobrazno ukrali U2, a potonji prvenstveno sa spaghetti westernima Sergia Leonea, ali i sa the Mission, primjerice, izmedu stotina napisanih filmskih tema.
Moram samo jos navesti Fight club sa zavrsnom scenom, meni jako upecatljivom i dragom i Pixies songom, Where is my mind?
Na prvu ovako, u moru odlicnih brojeva za film...
Los cukar na fritulama!

Jerry Goldsmithov soundtrack za Chinatown:



Jerry ima mnogo traka za pamcenje.
Medju omiljenim mi je i Bob Dylanov soundtrack za Pekinpoov vestern Pat Garett and Billy the kid.

Zatim Carpentner ima sjajnih soundtrackova za svoje filmove, Escape from Ney York, Napad na policijsku stanicu 13, Stvor itd.

Tu je i John Barry, isto hrpa filmova ali ove 2 muzicke teme mi se izdvajaju:




Takodje i legendarni David Shire:





I naravno maestro Morricone, ali za njega ne treba navoditi primere, opste su poznati.

Od novijih kompozitora muzike za filmove bih izdvojio prerano preminulog Jóhanna Jóhannssona :

Uf da Ry Cooder za Paris, Texas je genijalna kompozicija. I naravno Goblini za Suspiru, taj film ne bi bio isti bez njihove muzike.

A i svi Blaxplotation filmovi su imali sjajne soundtracke od nekih od najvecih imena soula, funka i rnb-a tog vremena: vec gorespomenuti Marvin Gaye za Trouble Man i Curtis Mayfeild za Pusherman, a tu je i Isaac Hayes za Shaft!

Dragi moji Talijani, amerima pokazali gdje im je mjesto.
Top topova! Ovakav vizuelno/glazbeni impresij tesko ce se ponoviti ikad. Naravno, cijeli je film udarac u solarni plexus. Remek djelo. Bas cu ga opet pogledati, s gustom po pedeset i prvi put, nakon ovog posta...

Kome se ispolirani 80s AOR Roberta Palmera, spomenutog Hueya, Genesisa bez Gabriela i Whitney Houston nije gadio prije toga, hoće nakon što vidi recenzije Baleovog Batemana.
Meni dođe da se otuširam nakon toga :)

Cimina smatram genijalcem a njegov Heaven's Gate je jedan od najljepše snimljenih filmova. Žalosno je da mn ogi nisu ni čuli za ovaj epski naslov a još manje je onih koji su ga gledali. Kladim se da nema više od pet 8ako i toliko) forumaša koji znaju za ovaj film, pa zbog toga koristim priliku da ga predstavim!


Pogledajte samo ovu scenu iz filma (scena s preko 100 likova koje treba sinhronizirati da budu kao jedno...a prije toga ih uopće naučiti služiti se koturaljkama). Nijedan filmski efekt nije korišten, sve je stvarno!

A kad smo vec kod Cimina, nitko nije spomenuo ni legendarnu Cavatinu.


A 70-te je obilježila i ova nezaboravna tema:

Soundrack za jedan loš film Judgment Night iz 1993.
Kultni OST, sa divljačkom energijom..Preraste se ta muzika, ali mislim da sam tada kao tinejdžer izlizao bugarsku kasetu sa ovom kompilacijom.
Svaka pesma je bila plod saradnje jednog rap i jednog metal benda, Faith no more i Boo Yaa TRIBE, Sonic Youth i Cypress Hill, Living Colour i Run DMC, Slayer i Ice T, Biohazard, House of Pain, Therapy, De La Soul, Pear Jam..
