Ima glazbenih žanrova koji mi ekstra pašu ljeti.

Ljetna muzika, epizoda: AFRIKA

Afrička glazba je glazba ritma. Melodija nije nebitna, ali uglavnom prepušta vozačko mjesto ritmu (a u ponekom žanrovima poput trancea se u potpunosti skloni). Afrobeat, kako ga je definirao drug stari Fela, garav brat nesvrstani - miks sofisticiranog džezerskog muziciranja, militantne političke angažiranosti i putenog funkastičnog miješanja guzicom - je ono najbolje od Afrike (in my book).

Nastavljamo sa dinastijom Kuti. Felini sinovi, najstariji Femi i najmlađi Seun koji predvodi zadnji Felin bend Egypt 80, nastavljaju obiteljsku tradiciju. Najstarije Felino dijete, kćerka Yeni, je također angažirana kako na glazbenom tako i na aktivističkom planu. I treća generacija dinastije polako pristiže, Felin unuk i Femijev sin Made je također stupio na scenu.

Još malo Afrike pa selim u druge krajeve.

Danas je sve to naravno jedan veliki globalni melting pot, pa najbolje afrobeat grupe današnjice dolaze iz Kanade ili New Yorka...





Zauzvrat iz Afrike stiže najuzbudljiviji zvuk električnih gitara ovih dana.
