Tipičan Jarmushovski film (no neuobičajen jer je to ipak western, i to kao C/B postmodernistički) s puno meni dragih glumaca. Poetičan i magičan film. Za bolji osvrt trebao bih ga pogledati još jednom. uh, rado bih ga opet pogledao. 10/10

Da bi smo videli šta nas sve vreba "iza ćoška" u modernom svetu, dobro je da se osvrnemo malo u prošlost. Toliko smo napredovali, da se skoro ništa nije promenilo. Osim tehnologije.... Ljudi su i dalje divlje zverke, sa novim metodama hvatanja plena.

U sustini, dosta mračan film. Deluje pitko, a iza te prozaičnosti krije se nimalo svetla poruka. Smrt je jedini izlaz. Uspeh je to ako skončaš u miru, i na kraju ti sleduje ono - da si moralni pobednik. Ili moralni gubitnik...u yavisnosti od toga kako posmatramo stvari.

Muzika Neil Young-a su jedva ubedili da "odsvira" muziku za film, što je ovaj na kraju, bukvalno odradio. Pustili su projekciju na velikom platnu, čovek je stao ispred, gledao film i u isto vreme svirao. To što je proizašlo tada, postao je soundtrack. Bez montaže i šminkanja. To je bio njegov uslov da radi muziku za film.

kad sam ovaj film gledao u kinu studio u vlaškoj, mislim da nam je par tjedana bio tema na poslovnim kavama
sjajan film, a imam i soundtrack
