inace, u celoj prici mi se dopada to sto ce format da bude ogroman, to je sad izgleda trend za kolekcije novinskih stripova, da izlaze kao i u originalu :D

A, Sappo.

Iskreno, za mene je Fantagraphicsova kolekcija Popeyea jedna velika propuštena prilika.

Trebala je to biti jedna fina kolekcija kompletnog Segarovog Thimble Theatre, a ne selektivno reprintanje stripova sa Popeyem kao glavnim likom. Taj se strip nije zvao Popeye kad je Segar bio živ.

tu si mozda u pravu, jer ostali likovi su isto zanimljivi, a Segar je bio sjajan pripovedac, po ovome sto vidim u Popaju
al jbg, ceo svet zna za Popaja, niko ne zna za Ricinusovo ulje, ovaj, za Castor Oyla

mislim da cu da sacekam da oba izdanja stignu u lokalnu striparnicu :D

ali mislim da mi je IDW bolje, veliki format, plus se dobije i Jungle Jim, to se ne odbacuje :)

Čini mi se da je ovo izdanje Flash Gordon & Jungle Jim poput IDW-ovog Polly and her Palls koju sam kupio.

Nemojte kupovati ako nemate prostora za smještaj (dimenzije su približno 40x30 cm). Ako kupujete putem Amazona ide još 6 bucksa dodatne poštarine.

Dok za Polly po meni nema prevelikog opravdanja za takav format, za Raymonda i te kako ima.

Vjerujem da će IDW to bolje odraditi od Titana.

Unaprijed se veselim i Barksovoj Bear Book od IDW-a. Imam neko crno bijelo izdanje, ali ovo vjerujem da će biti puno bolja oprema.

Mislim da to nije cijeli Rejmond. U Te tri knjige je F.G. od početka do 41 godine. Zadnja stranica je označena 6-29-41. Mislim da je Rejmond radio F.G. do 43 godine. inače su mi te tri knjige nostalgije odlične!! Krešo preporučujem ti da ih nabaviš.

Preko Amazona je skoro trećinu ispod cover cijene, ali stigne nabijeno.

Dimenzije Titanovog izdanja su 221 x 307 mm a IDW 305 x 406 mm.
Znači da će Flash biti približno isti.
Mislim da ću se pre odlučiti za Titan jer je jeftiniji.
U koliko tomova ide Titan (2-3?) a u koliko IDW (4?)?

Da, prema nekoj računici bi IDW-ovo izdanje moglo ići u nekih 4 ili 5 knjiga.

75 dolara za 175 strana. Nema sanse da bi dao te pare za neki strip. Fantagraphicsov Popeye je ogroman i ima 200 strana pa kosta 30 dolara. Sta to ovaj ima?
