Stvar je u tome, Alcala je Voltara pokrenuo 1963. godine na Filipinima. To je sedam godina prije negoli će nastati ikakav strip o Conanu. Naravno, ako zanemarimo one ilegalne stripove koji su izlazili u Meksiku, koji su ionako više bili stripovi o Belit nego o Conanu.

Alcala je vjerojatno bio inspiriran Howardovim romanima o Conanu.

Moj sin ga obožava. Prošle godine sam bio na jednom strip festivalu ovde i uspeo sam da uzmem za njega numerisani poster sa Deribovim potpisom.
A i meni se sviđa. :)

Naravno da je dosadno. Mema mutanata, skrsenih mozgova i rasutih creva. Nema osvete, nema masakra, nema vanzemaljaca....

Prelep decji strip za koji nijedna nasa izdavacka kuca nije imala njuha.

Yakari je pokazatelj razlike u politici prema stripu izmedju nas i franaka.
Zato franci i danas imaju jaku strip scenu a mi se zamajavamo reprintima reprinta.

Ovaj Herbie je toliko...hm grozan strip da mi se i sviđa
Uz malo moderniji crtež i modernije pripovjedanje prošao bi i danas kao zabavan dječji strip.
Posebno mi se sviđa poznata Hruščovljeva scena lupanja cipelom po stolu

Pročitao o Herbieju davno u nekom Mooreovom intervjuu (Herbie je Mooreov najdraži superheroj).

Herbie je još jedan od stripova koje ne bih kupio, ali mi je drago da sam se malo bliže upoznao s njim u ovom krasnom topicu.
