Devendra Banhart - Smokey Rolls Down Thunder Canyon


Nisam siguran da sam uopšte slušao Devendru dok je bio "vruća roba", ali odučim pre nekog vremena da mu dam šansu... i od tad se ovaj album stalno nalazi u plej listi. Stilski, jezički i na svaki drugi način raznovrstan. Jeste da je u svom avanturizmu često na granici pastiša, ali mi nimalo ne smeta.
Odjednom mi se život proširio.

World music najbolje mi sjeda u ljetno vrijeme, dok je temperatura iznad 20 Celzijevih. Dakle, danas je prigodno vrijeme, unatoč vjetru.

Hope Sandoval & The Warm Inventions - Bavarian Fruit Bread

Nastavlja tamo gde je stao poslednji album Mazzy Star-a. Distorzije i gitarske buke nema ni u tragovima, samo nenametljiva muzička pratnja i zavodljiv glas Hope Sandoval gurnut napred. Preporučljivo za lenja letnja popodneva i za one koji se upravo zaljubljuju u neku lepu, krhku i posebnu devojku. :D
Odjednom mi se život proširio.

Ljubimci glazbenih kriticara Minneapolisa i to sa pravom.
Postoji jako dobar razlog za zadovoljstvo kad osjetite da se pojavio bend koji je stvorio svoj jedinstveni zvuk i svoj jedinstveni stil.

Stvarno su dobri albumi. :)

Probao sam sa Policom kad je pomenuo Torelli, ali nije išlo. Predstavljaju sve što ne volim kod moderne muzike, beskrvno do srži.

najbolji album koji sam čuo ove godine
instrumentalno nenametljiv, ali vokalno i tekstualno na vrhuncu
fiona apple je nadmašila samu sebe, sasvim usredotoćena
i nikada toliko samopouzdana... u svakom trenutku

Chris Rea - Blue Guitars (2005)



Čovjek je 2005 godine izbacio jedanaesterostruki album... Ej ljudi JEDANAESTEROSTRUKI !!!... 137 pjesama ! Album je podijeljen prema vrstama bluesa, odnosno njegovom doživljaju istih pa tako imamo cd naslovljen Chicago blues pa texas blues, electric blues, itd... Kvaliteta pjesama varira od solidnih do jako dobrih, no tu se ipak sakrio jedan biser. Treći cd naziva "Lousiana & New Orleans" je istinsko remek djelo, blues sa delte u folk aranžmanu koji bi trebao poslušati svatko kome je imalo stalo do glazbe. Mene osobno su oduševile prve tri pjesme koje zvuče poput demo snimki s početka Waitsove karijere. Sad idem pustiti sve otpočetka i crtati.

Jon Spencer Blues Explosion - Orange / Experimental Remixes (2010.)

Moje uho izmoreno je svakojakim indie-plačipičkama, u ljetno doba mu dobro sjeda siroviji zvuk koji njeguje Jon Spencer Blues Explosion, gotovo jedini bend zbog kojeg bih otišao na ovogodišnji Terraneo. Reizdanje iz 2010. trebalo bi se puštati u birtijama kojima prijeti zatvaranje, Orange / Experimental Remixes stvorio bi u njima delirični lom-lom-brodolom!
