Sam album "Džinovski" je dovoljan razlog za idolopoklonstvo ovom bendu.
U vremenu Tutica , Huljica, Perkovica i ostale komercijalne gamadi Hladno je Pivo vise nego dobro doslo osvjezenje.

Prvi put sam se susreo sa njima kao 15-godisnjak 2000. , kada je jedan moj stariji drugar ostavio kod mene u rancu CD Dzinovski, a posle zaboravio da ga uzme, a ja sam iz ciste znatizelje uzeo da preslusam kako zvuce novi hrvatski pankeri(nisam imao pojma da postoje duze od 10 godina). Odmah sutradan sam odjurio kod drugara i pokupio mu celu dotadasnju diskografiju i za jedno popodne pokusao da nadoknadim tolike godine neznanja. To je bila ljubav na prvo slusanje, koja traje i dan danas, kao da smo zajedeno odrastali i zaokretali iz panka ka laganijem zvuku, ne gubeci na iskrenosti i direktnosti, zadrzavajuci taj divan cinizam i bunt. Iskreno, malo su me razocarali sa poslednjim albumom, ali to ne menja cinjenicu da je HP najbolja stvar u muzici koja se dogodila na ovim prostorima od 90.te do danas.

Hladno Pivo je veliki bend, jednak Čorbi, Dugmetu, Azri ili Pušenju. Na srpskoj sceni njihov pandan jedino može biti Block Out i to ne u komercijalnom nego u kvalitativnom smislu. Gledao sam ih zimus u Beogradu i to mi je bio jedan od najboljih koncerata u životu. Od albuma su mi najomoljenija poslednja dva, dok sa prethodnih ne volim baš sve pesme.
