Metal je trenutno malo u kurcu, ali nade se jos amalgama post metal/industrial metal/prog metal..koji su zanimljivi.

I tako... Dođe profesor iz književnosti na predavanje, slegne ramenima radi generalne nezainteresiranosti studenata i kaže: "Ma znate što? Trebali bismo napraviti jedno predavanje na temu heavy metala!"
Studenti začuđeno gledaju, odjednom im se više ne spava, razbuđuju se i razdragano počinju kliktati: "Da! Tako je! Može!"
Eto, nešto slično dogodilo se na West Texas A&M Sveučilištu, kada je profesor Martin Jacobsen odlučio heavy metal iskoristiti kao jedno predavanje iz književnosti. Učinio je to tako što je na predavanju pustio, koga drugoga nego - Iron Maiden i pjesmu "Out of a Silent Planet"...

..Predavanje je izazvalo ultimativno pozitivne reakcije - toliko pozitivne da je sada Jacobsen dobio novi predmet "Uvod u knjiženovst: heavy metal kao književni pravac" ('Introduction To Literature: Heavy Metal As A Literary Genre').

Gledao sam ih 3x u zadnje 3 godine, ali svejedno ne propuštam. Lagano već možemo pričati o godišnjoj Slayer manifestaciji

Uz Down i Maidene, to je to glede ljetovanja što se mene tiče.

Zaboravio sam da sam postavio pitanje, a sad vidim da si mi i odgovorio .
Neću ić. Uglavnom slušam hc/punk. Manje metal. Sabaton su mi dobri zadnjih godinu dana-prije nisam ni znao za njih. Sad bi moglo biti loše to da ako se navučem na njih pa će mi bit žao što nisam otišao na koncert...ali uvijek može bit nova prilika.
Evo recimo-2003 su svirali Iron Maiden u Velikoj Gorici, a ja sam iz Gorice (tj pored Gorice) i bio sam ispred Radnikovog stadiona, nije mi se dalo žicati 200 kn za upad (u to vrijeme sam se još klošario ) i na kraju 10 tisuća ljudi uđe na koncert ( i večina mojih frendova-jer su imali volju žicati za upad) a nas desetak kretena ostane vani. I bilo mi je jako žao što nisam ušao. Mejdeni mi sviraju praktički doma a ja ne uđem na koncert . Nakon par godina svirali su u Splitu-to ni nije bilo usput. I evo ove godine - znači deset godina nakon V. Gorice-sviraju u Zagrebu- i sad ću isrpaviti pogrešku od prije deset godina i otići na koncert u Arenu .
