The story was written by Roberto Recchioni with stunning full-color artwork by Gigi Cavenago, and it partially continues on the award-winning Mater Morbi book. Mater Dolorosa came out in Italy just last September, for 30 year anniversary of Dylan Dog and this November it will be here in English! More details next week.

If you want to become a comic book writer you need a constant effort and creative mindset, but even that may not be enough. Or you can instead choose a shortcut and just impersonate an established writer. You may receive invitations to comic book shops, get free vacations, sign autographs and get laid. Some shortcuts however, may lead you back to start, just like in the game of Snakes and Ladders.

Svida mi se priča, zato sam ga objavio. Prica o američkom mladicu koji voli stripove i odluci se da ostvari nešto vise “prečicom”, ali se gadno opeče. Ustvari to je jedan redemption story. Strip je napisao čovjek kojeg znam. Poslao mi je talijansku verziju stripa kad ga je završio. Meni se jako svidio i voila! Nešto drugačije od Bonellija.

Graphic novel u pravilu nema nastavke i cjelovita je priča. Međutim, točna definicija ne postoji, a kako je i sam Alan Moore cinično izjavio, radi se o terminu za skuplje ili "elitnije" stripove. Možemo raspravljati o sadržaju koji bi trebao biti "ozbiljniji" od klasičnih tema u "comic books", ali opet, ni tu se ne bi usrećili.
Po meni, prikladniji naziv u ovom slučaju bio bi trade paperback - TPB, koji se u američkoj strip industriji sastoji od većeg broja svešćica koje pričaju kompletnu priču. No, ni to nije točno, jer Zagorove "svešćice", ako ćemo ih tako nazvati, imaju po 94 stranice.
Kad sve to uzmemo u obzir, termin graphic novel je sasvim ok, i u duhu je moderne američke strip industrije.
Mislim da nece biti u boji. Samo na povecanom formatu
Tako je, Zagor: The Lost World (Signature Edition) ce biti crno bijelo, A4 format, tvrde korice, na kvalitetnom papiru. Isti format kao Tex: Patagonia (Signature Edition). Trenutno je nemoguce da omogućim Well-Beeju da oboja svojim stilom ovaj strip. To je nevjerovatno mnogo posla!
Inače, Dylan Dog: Mater Dolorosa bi se trebala pojaviti u SNK-u ubrzo, ako ne i danas.
