Under The Red Hood
Kultni klasik, dobro poznata priča koja se proteže na više od 300 stranica. No, od samog početka ovo je priča ispunjena akcijom i dinamikom, nema puno prostora za predah i na svu sreću nema baš otezanja. Mali je problem što vjerojatno svi upućeniji u Batmana znaju tko je Red Hood, ali čak i ta spoznaja ne kvari užitak i napetost jer to i nije ono najzanimljivije do kraja stripa. Ono gdje mi je strip podbacio je nedovoljna karakterizacija Blackmaska koji mi definitivno nije sjeo kao lik. Batman je isto tako dosta blijedo u početku prikazan, gotovo kao marginalna figura, ali do kraja se uhvati i njegova srž i postane dobra protuteža Red Hoodu. Ono što je ključno za ovu priču je da postoji emotivno težište i da do zadnjih stranica je napeto i tjera na okretanje stranica. Zadnje poglavlje ima jedan sporni detalj koji mi je malo pokvario dojam, ali završetak je prilično spektakularan. Vrlo dobra i relevantna priča za svijet Batmana, možda je Winick malo precijenio svoje ambicije i mogućnosti ove priče te bi jedno 50ak stranica manje možda još i poboljšalo strip, ali sigurno je svevremenski klasik. 4/5 (s tendencijom prema višoj ocjeni) |

krenuo sam niz zečju rupu zvanu Trevor Von Eeden
čak i ono najbolje je pomalo acquired taste
ostalo ide od neprepoznatljivosti do undergrounda

| Ovo desno (World's Finest) sam imao u nekom nemačkom džepnom izdanju. Nažalost, nemam više - nekoliko epizoda gde se Betmen i Supermen (i Robin) sukobljavaju sa nekim kultom. Jednu epizodu (možda par, ne sećam se) je crtao Trevor Von Eeden. To je bilo dovoljno da mu zapamtim ime, sjajno urađeno. Ostale epizode, neki drugi crtači - Rič Bukler možda? |

neverovatno, i ja sam imao baš taj i samo taj taschenbuch! bio sam fasciniran stilom ali sam zaboravio ime crtača... ali ne i crtež, pa sam ga tako godinama kasnije prepoznao.
ne znam za baklera i ostale. |

annual 8 mu je mozda najbolji (iako ne najslobodniji!) rad. to je '82. a trebalo je da radi year one ('87).
zanimljivo da je godisnjak obojila njegova tadasnja (a millerova buduca) devojka, varley. paleta mi je slicna kao u godini prvoj, s tim sto je ono bojila mazzucchellijeva zena, richmond lewis.

Imam još nekoliko taschenbuch-a, ali ovaj sam morao da poklonim, kao uzvratni poklon.
Od Trevor Von Eeden-a sam imao prilike da bacim pogled samo još na Crnu Kanarinku (Black Canary).
Šteta što nema više njegovog Betmena i uopšte kontinuiranijeg rada na nekom serijalu. |
