The fireworks will begin with a three-part story titled "The Seven Vikings", in which King Guthrum and his Norsemen return , engaged in a dramatic manhunt to stop a killer, traitor to their people, called Starkard. He has put himself at the head of the infamous Salteaux Wendigo, bloodthirsty warriors who have turned their backs on the laws of the Great Spirit and live only for raids and massacres.

The June issue, that of the sixtieth anniversary, will propose a complete, self-contained story, in which we will see the Spirit with the Hatchet returning to the place where the last battle between him and Salomon Kinsky took place , and where "Wandering" Fitzy died , on which Zagor's tomb will accompany Cico .

Afterwards, a truly epochal series of books will begin: the one that will see the King of Darkwood travel to London, where he will meet Frida Lang again , for the final battle with Baron Rakosi , the vampire par excellence! Two stories connected to each other, five books in all, which will see Zagor reach Transylvania, before returning to Darkwood, just in time to face the return of an ancient enemy, returned in search of revenge. But we will talk about this in the year, since it will be the main dish of the menu at the beginning of 2022.



And in the other necklaces of the Spirit with the Hatchet? Just mention the title of the Spring Special to convince you that there will be surprises: "Return to the House of Terror". As for the Maxis , finally, big news are expected to start that calendar in May, the forty-second of the series: you will know more in due course.


By the end of the year a surprise should be ready, destined to delight all fans: its code name is Enciclopedia Zagoriana!

But there are still other surprises that are boiling in the pot: given that if Zagor celebrates sixty years, the good Cico also celebrates as many ! And in fact, in June you will find on newsstands a Special entirely dedicated to the nicest Mexican in the world, re-proposed in the same format as the twenty-seven others published between 1979 and 2007, as the twenty-eighth, unmissable issue. And speaking of numbers, the Number Zero of the team up between Zagor and Flash , the fast DC superhero , arrives on newsstands with a special issue scheduled for March, after the stapled register (with double cover) distributed in December in the comic store. All this, pending the complete 120-page story, a real international publishing event, which will crown the second part of the Zagorian year.

On the other hand, for those who prefer more "traditional" initiatives, the third strip series will soon arrive, which after the six albetti of the Darkwood Series and the same number of the Scure Series , will propose eight called "Aquila Necklace": as in the other cases, will be distributed in the comic store or through our online shop. In bookstores, the fifth and last hardcover of "Zagor: the Origins" will arrive by April, while a surprise should be ready by the end of the year destined to delight all fans. What is it about?
