Ma nema dobrih pjesama, ne gleda nitko stariji od 12 Doru zbog glazbe. Eurovizija je jednostavno društveni fenomen/običaj, koji osim grupnog obiteljskog druženja pred tv-om uključuje i sprdanje sa pjesmama i nastupima (no i ti koji se sprdaju svejedno sa guštom svaku gledaju). To je za mene potpuno drugi sport od glazbe koju inače slušam, uopće ih ne dovodim u istu rečenicu.

Ups...sad kad ponovo čitam tvoju poruku vidim da nije ironija (zbunila me prva rečenica s 12-godišnjacima). Isprika.

Slažem se sa svime, osim s tim uvodom o 12-godišnjacima. Prati se to itekako ozbiljno i zbog glazbe, jer puno ljudi kupuje i sluša pop pjesmuljke, posao je to.

Pa kaj nije Come Together na sudu potvrdjeni plagijat neke Chuck Berryjeve pjesme pa je zato Lennon prema nagodbi morao snimiti cetiri pjesme iz kataloga doticnog menadzera pa je onda odlucio snimiti cijeli album obrada pjesama koje su na njega utjecale?

In late 1969, "Come Together" was the subject of a copyright infringement claim brought against Lennon by Big Seven Music, who was the publisher of Chuck Berry's "You Can't Catch Me".[46] Morris Levy, the owner of Big Seven Music, contended that it sounded similar musically to Berry's original and shared some lyrics (Lennon sang: "Here come ol' flattop, he come groovin' up slowly", and Berry's had sung: "Here come a flattop, he was movin' up with me"). Before recording, Lennon and McCartney deliberately slowed the song down and added a heavy bass riff in order to make the song more original.[47] The case was settled out of court in 1973, with Levy's lawyers agreeing that Lennon would compensate by recording three Big Seven songs for his next album.

Come Together sam čuo bezbroj, a Cat Food puno puta, no nisam uočio sličnost sve dok sinoć nisam u toaletu birtije pokušavao raspoznati svira li to prva ili druga (začudo, svirala je druga - doduše upravo se odvijao glazbeni kviz pa je repertoar možda bio odvažniji nego inače). Znate kako se u takvim okolnostima čuje uglavnom samo bas - očito su Crimsoni citirali bas liniju iz Come Together.

Berryjeva pjesma nema taj bas, ali primjetna je sličnost u vokalnoj melodiji i izgovoru, premda su pjesme drugačijeg tempa. No daleko je to (u oba slučaja) od direktnog plagiranja, rekao bih čak da je za glazbeno stvaralaštvo poželjno takva citiranja lišiti takvih optužbi.

Inače, "New Jersey turnpike in the wee wee hours" iz ove Berryjeve pjesme je Springsteen citirao u (najmanje) 3 svoje: Open All Night, State Trooper i Living on the edge of the world ;)

Pa i da i ne. Gle, covjek tuzio Lennona, a ovaj se nagodio.

A i Kaze McCartney u intervjuu Washington Postu:

"John famously brought in "Come Together" sounding very much like a Chuck Berry song called "You Can't Catch Me." I said, "That's Chuck Berry." He went, "Yeah." I said, "No, no, no." And we swapped it out and slowed it down and made a genius record. I'm allowed to say that now."

A s druge strane, od jedne super pjesme napravili su drugu super pjesmu. To je onda valjda remake

Imaju Stonesi 20 pjesama koje su sličnije Đavolima/Screamu od ove Mlinarecove, ali nije stvar samo u riffu - ritam, refren, sve je vrlo vrlo slično, bar meni. Imaju gotovo identičan break, usporedi Rock galama oko 4:00 nadalje sa Rocks oko 2:30 nadalje.
