The Other History of the DC Universe #1, by John Ridley and Giuseppe Camuncoli (DC) Poprilično suhoparno, nije me dovoljno zainteresiralo da nastavim dalje.
Gideon Falls, by Jeff Lemire and Andrea Sorrentino (Image) Prva polovica serijala odlična, kasnije opadne no sve u svemu vrijedno čitanja. Evo moj osvrt - link
Superman Smashes the Klan, by Gene Luen Yang and Gurihiru (DC) Pročitao trećinu i odustao, nezanimljivo.
FANGS, by Sarah Andersen (Andrews McMeel) Uglavnom razočaravajuće, evo moj osvrt - link
The Loneliness of the Long-Distance Cartoonist, by Adrian Tomine (Drawn & Quarterly) Užasno iritantan strip - osvrt: link
Pulp, by Ed Brubaker and Sean Phillips (Image) Čisto okej, no dosta slabije od ostalih Brubaker/Phillips naslova - osvrt: link
Black Hammer Library Edition, vol. 2, by Jeff Lemire, Dean Ormstom, Emi Lenox, and Rich Tommaso (Dark Horse) Meh, među slabijim Lemireovim stvarima - osvrt: link
A Journal Of My Father, by Jiro Taniguchi, translation by Kumar Sivasubramanian (Fanfare/Ponent Mon) Uz "Daleko Susjedstvo" najbolja Taniguchijeva manga.

Herobear and the Kid je božanstveno nacrtan, čudi me da ga Markos nije već ubacio u Niku. Hate Petera Bagea je ultimativni underground must, klasika. The Winter of the Cartoonist vredi.

Kratka priča Rookie, by Greg Rucka and Eduardo Risso, in Detective Comics #1027 (DC) je ok, ali ništa više od toga. Spin-off serijala Gotham Central. |

Pretpostavljam da misliš na nove stvari? A ne na Man and Superman, Little Lulu i slično.

Sramota! |

Od pobjednika sam čitao sljedeće: - Superman's Pal Jimmy Olsen, by Matt Fraction and Steve Lieber (DC) - Superman Smashes the Klan, by Gene Luen Yang and Gurihiru (DC) - The Loneliness of the Long-Distance Cartoonist, by Adrian Tomine (Drawn & Quarterly) - Pulp, by Ed Brubaker and Sean Phillips (Image)

Oku ugodne naslovnice |

Best Archival Collection/Project—Comic Books The Complete Hate, by Peter Bagge, edited by Eric Reynolds (Fantagraphics) Hate i Bagge svakako zaslužuju nešto, ali je davanje mu Eisnera je kao kad Nirvani daš Emija: nešto što je generalno underground dobije najblještaviju najbesmisleniju i najneiskreniju nagradu. |

Nisam čitao ostalo ali ovaj Something Is Killing the Children je po meni jako loš.
Meni naprotiv vrlo zanimljiv. Sad prelazim na Department of Truth. |

Uuuuuuu, SIKTC je vrh. Vrh! |

Pa krenimo:
Somna: A Bedtime Story, by Becky Cloonan and Tula Lotay (DSTLRY)
Amerikanci su još u srednjem vijeku i proganjaju vještice.
Evo šta kažu autorice: Usamljeni um luta, izgubljen je i nenadahnut. On je u potrazi. Sotona je uvijek na oprezu. On vidi naše grijehe, naše slabosti i koristi ih u svoju korist.
Strip je pokupio nagradu. Pitam se zbog čega. Jesu li ostali nominirani toliko loši? Možda zbog toga što su autori hanume. Provjerio sam, bijele su, nisu obojene.
Ili je do mene? Tipujem na ovo treće.

Roaming, by Mariko Tamaki and Jillian Tamaki (Drawn & Quarterly) BEST GRAPHIC ALBUM—NEW BEST WRITER BEST PENCILLER/INKER
ovo je otprilike ko kad neki film pokupi glavne oskare

jillian i mariko tamaki imaju novu knjigu!

Standardne coming of age drame.
