Stvar iz godine moga rodenja koja simbolizira slobodnu volju i zelju za promjenama , te budenje svijesti uspavane konzumom , umorene izrabljivanjem, prevarene obecanjima..zvuci poznato?

Evo jedne novije stvari.
Potpuno me je opcinila, i cini mi se da bih mogao celog zivota samo nju slusati.
Sve sto zelim od pesme - prelepa melodija, zavodljivi glas i divni stihovi.

Poslednja pesma za koju mogu da tvrdim da mi je bitno uticala na zivot je cudan izbor za evropljanina. Ali, cudni izbori se desavaju u zivotu. Tako sam i ja, cudnim izborom, zavrsio u zemlji o kojoj nisam znao nista sem da je Anderlecht cesto sampion, a da nas je Brugge natovario '87 u kupu UEFA tako krvavo da sam zaplakao. I ajd sto sam bio tamo, nego sam izgurao sedam godina. I posle nekog vremena, poceo sam da se pitam sta radim tamo, ali konformizam, ta zver koja cuci u svakom coveku, me je drzala inertnim, bas kao i cinjenica da ne mogu da se vratim kuci bez Mercedesa S klase i sakom dukata za svakog clana familije (mada nisam umeo da vozim tada, ali, to su samo sitni detalji). I tako, imas 26 godina, u totalnom si dead end fazonu, nazire se zivotni put blue collar agonije, pocnes da zivis za vikend i dva slobodna dana...ali, rahmetly Jerry mi kaze...

I jebiga, I whistled through my teeth & spat...i vratih se kuci, i odoh opet, ali u medjuvremenu postadoh nekakav covek, i sad kad se setim sta sam radio, dodje mi da opalim sebi samar. Ali, onda ne bih znao Jerrya, i zivot bi mi bio siromasniji u nekim aspektima...sve se zbiva sa razlogom, makar i razlog bio to da si glup k'o kurac.

Stvar koja romantizirajuci americki san ustvari opjevava njegovu diabolicnu dvolicnost .
Putnik koji kroci u Hotel California nikad vise nece biti isti.
Vjerovatno jedna od najboljih stvari proslog stoljeca i melodija koja ce zauvijek konzervirati miris doticne djevojke u mojoj glavi.
Mozda je danas debela i nesretna , mozda je lijepa i uspjesna..sve je to nevazno i trivialno ..
Kada krene ova stvar u meni se opet zapali ona vatra...jebiga.

Hvala starom što je kupio ovu Jugoton kazetu! Još uvijek se sjećam kako mi se zapravo nisu sviđale solaže, previše je to tada cvililo za jednog sedmogodišnjaka ali se isto tako sjećam koliko sam premotavao da čujem riff na ''Children of the grave''. Naravno, tada nisam niti znao što su riffovi a što solaža ali naježena koža je dosta govorila za sebe.
Ni danas nije drugačije....
