SKUPLJANJE sličica nogometaša i punjenje albuma za velika natjecanja jako je skup sport. Istinitost ove tvrdnje upravo je znanstveno dokazana.
BBC donosi ekspertizu profesora Paula Harpera, matematičkog stručnjaka sa Sveučilišta u Cardiffu. On je izradio formulu kojom je došao do prosječno potrebnog broja kupljenih sličica kako bi se popunio Paninijev album.

Uzimajući u obzir da album za SP ima 682 sličice i da je paketić s pet sličica poskupio s 50 na 80 penija u odnosu na paketiće sličica za Euro 2016., popunjavanje albuma za SP kolekcionare će u prosjeku koštati 773 funti i 60 penija. Ili, preračunato u hrvatsku valutu, 6575 kuna.

Ako Englezi kupe 137 paketića i nikada ne dobiju istu sličicu, kompletiranje kolekcije koštat će ih 109,60 funti. Ali, kako Harper ističe, to je "ekstremno nevjerojatno".

Tako se vraćamo na profesorovu formulu, kojom je došao do broja od 4832 sličice ili 967 paketića, koliko je potrebno da bi se popunio album.

Naravno, troškove smanjuje mijenjanje sličica. Ali Harper navodi kako će, u slučaju da razmjeni pristupi deset kolekcionara, svakome od njih biti potrebno 247 funti ili 2100 kuna.

Profesor je prije dvije godine iste kalkulacije radio povodom albuma sa 680 sličica za EP. Tada je predviđao trošak od 374 funte za popunjavanje albuma. Očito je da se iznos potreban za kompletiranje kolekcije više nego poduplao.

Taj profesor nije nikada čuo za kolekcionarsku snalažljivost. Ja sam siguran da će mi za popunjavanje ovog albuma biti potrebno između 800 i 1000 kuna, kao što je to uostalom bio slučaj i prije dvije, četiri, šest, osam godina...

Inače, jučer sam za početak kupio kutiju od 50 paketića i prilično sam zadovoljan. Među 250 sličica sam dobio samo 20 duplića, a izgleda da niti skupljanje sličica sa sjajnom podlogom neće biti toliki problem kao prije dvije godine. Dobio sam ukupno 15 takvih sličica, što je 6 posto svih onih koje su bile u kutiji, a kako ukupno treba skupiti 670 sličica od kojih njih 50 ima sjajnu pozadinu (32 grba, plus prvih 8 i zadnjih 10) ispada da je postotak sličica s takvom pozadinom 7.5 posto što i nije neka razlika.

Nakon dvije kutije (100 paketića) - imam 398, fali 271.
Naviše imam po 15 igrača iz nekih repki, najmanje po 8.
Ali, u drugoj kutiji sam dobio samo 11 sjajnih, to mi se ne sviđa...
