Ajmo jedno lagano rangiranje... Rangirajte filmove od najboljeg do najlošijeg.

Moje ljestvica bi išla ovako:

1 (Die Hard) - vrh
3 (Die Hard: With a Vengeance) - odličan Die Hard i odličan buddy film
2 (Die Harder) - dobar
4 (Live Free or Die Hard) - PG13 Die Hard nije Die Hard
5 (A Good Day to Die Hard) - sramota za serijal

dvojka je u nekim segmentima zaista bolja od keca. Ima nekih momenata koji su iskreno dramaticni. Trojka mi je prenaduvana akcija a iskreno smeta mi sto je u pitanju "dnevni" film. Slažem se, prvi "Umri muški" mi je možda stvarno najbolji film 80-ih, gledao sam ga najprije tri puta u prvom prikazivanju u kinima, pa poslije izderao VHS-ove i DVD-ove, a kad god ide na televiziji nekako se zakačim i opet ne mogu odoljeti.

Jednostavno, kvaliteta je opadala sa svakim novim nastavkom, s tim što prva tri filma čine dovoljno kompaktnu trilogiju a četvrti i peti su suvišni i nepotrebni, čista komercijalna eksploatacija bez duše i smisla. Osobita katastrofa je peti, koji je i prilično glup, što za film iz franšize Die Hard nikad ne bih očekivao.

Dakle:

- 1.
- 2.
- 3.
- 4.
- 5.


Navodno se radi na šestom nastavku koji nosi radni naslov "Die Hard: Year One", a koji bi trebao režirati Len Wiseman iz "četvorke" i prvih dvaju "Underworlda" te prepravka "Total Recalla".
Možda bi bilo bolje da se nikad ne snimi.

U prvom dijelu je fantastično iskorištena Oda radosti:







A u trećem dijelu je sjajno upotrijebljena pjesma When Johnny Comes Marching Home iz američkog građanskog rata, s naslućivanjem Beethovenovih motiva odozgor:
Ja necu imati s kim ostati mlad ako svi ostarite,
i ta ce mi mladost teško pasti...

Da, čak i Hans pjevuši Odu radosti. :)

imam filing da je trojka dosta podcijenjena.

Na YouTubeu je alternativni završetak trećeg dijela, i izgleda odlično.

Netipičan za serijal, u prvi trenutak sam pomislio da je riječ o montaži kadrova iz Šestog čula i nekog filma s Ironsom, Požude, Ukradene ljepote, Lolite ili tako nečeg, ali ipak nije.
