Pa stanje je više nego dobro. Iako su cijene išle gore i dalje je ostala konstanta od 8 milijuna prodanih primjeraka (neovisno o ostalim izvorima prihoda). Za sada, čini se da nema brige za Bonelli.

Trebalo bi vidjeti konačan rezultat poslovne godine (prije ili poslije oporezivanja) kako bi se mogli donijeti zaključci |

Pa kamate, porez i amortizacija je vjerovatno slična kao u prijašnjim godinama tako da se barem može praviti usporedbe na prijašnje godine.
Može se npr. vidjeti da je bila 2020. godina lošija od 2019., a 2021. bolja od 2020.
Inaće u 2021 je Bonelli izbacio 273 različita izdanja od toga su 115 bili Texovi. |

The 2021 financial statements of Sergio Bonelli Editore (SBE), after the most critical phase of the Covid crisis, arrive with the recovery of turnover, back to the levels of 2019, and with a further increase in profits (at EBITDA level), at an all-time high since 2016, when we started these short annual analyzes.
Also this year, like the previous one, the approval came close to the legal deadline, and the budget was therefore only available in late summer.
INCOME STATEMENT
SBE's business turnover in 2021 was € 30.4M , up by 9.4% compared to the 2020 value of € 27.4M and almost to the 2019 level of € 30.6M.
Compared to 2020, both periodicals (€ 26.7M, an all-time high of the last 5 years) and books (€ 2.2M, an increase compared to 2020 € 1.7M, but not yet at the level of the all-time high) in 2019 € 2.6M).
Revenues from publishing rights drop to € 1.3M, the same level as in 2017. The same trend for sales from merchiandising, which remains negligible on the total, at € 107k.
If the turnover has recovered vigorously, and with a growth centered right in the newsstands (last year we wondered if they would have succeeded with the continuous closure of the newsstands), it should be noted (with surprise, as far as I'm concerned) that the accounts draw a Bonelli returned to the levels of 6-7 years ago, not only in terms of turnover, but also for profit and (more surprisingly) in the share of incidence of sources of income.
In the year of recovery, newsstands again account for 88% of turnover: it had happened last year too, but due to the reduction of other turnover, this year it happens in the growth of the main sources of revenue. The past is present.
Significantly, in 2021 Bonelli increases costs, and it does so significantly as regards personnel (+ 19%), even more than the turnover (+ 9%) and costs in general (+ 7%).
The result of the dynamics described above is an EBITDA (earnings before interest, taxes, depreciation and amortization) of € 4.5M (up a further 12% from € 4.0M in 2020) and an after-tax profit. of € 3.3M (+ 50% from the already attractive 2.2M in 2020), with profit and EBITDA beating last year's already high figures.
In terms of cash flows, the company increases cash by € 2.1M this year, inflating the already positive € 1.5M flow of last year.
Overall, Bonelli has shown that it knows how to rebound in times of recovery, accelerating turnover in the correct way and increasing the cost structure to support the business.
Last year I was questioning how much of the revenue cut would be recovered between 2021 and 2022, and we have to conclude that they did it and well.
It should be noted that the management reports show that the number of publications in 2021 was 273, slightly less than the 276 in 2020, with a sale of about 8M copies, which was the same number as in 2020.
This means that the increase of the turnover of magazines is not due to an increase in sales, but to an increase in the nominal price, which, however, is paid for in keeping with sales .
The comics market is therefore confirmed as not very elastic: (residual) readers are generally fond of publications to the point of continuing to buy even in conditions of price adjustments.
It is therefore confirmed that the magazine market continues to be the only safe haven for Bonelli. If it is still centered on the newsstand channel, which is increasingly suffering, it is the same balance that confirms that it is increasingly integrated by large-scale distribution channels (supermarkets) and the internet (in 2021 Bonelli's online shop alone recorded a turnover exceeding € 1M).
However, it should be noted that, with regard to the opening of new markets, assets under construction for Bonelli's multimedia projects have reached the non-trivial amount of € 10.3M:

Ma joj, to su prijavljene brojke, zarada na crno tu ne piše, ne bi oni to radili da se ne isplati.
Slično je i s našim izdavačima koji iz rukava vade komplete svih brojeva neke edicije za prodaju na velikim prodajnim akcijama. Naprinta se malo više, prijavi se manje da se plati manje prava, i prijavi se ofkors samo taj službeni tiraž. Ostalo direkt u pađe pada lova... Bitno da su u blagom plusu zbog porezne službeno.
Pa se kupuju auti mamama za keš.
